I agree I think the map UI could use some improvement. It looks visually pleasing, but it is not practical at all haha. I also got a bit confused about the whole atlas map mechanic in ACT 2. Either way lets not complain too much, and be grateful for such an amazing game hehe :)
Thank you for the kind words :) Already working on a follow up tips video, and a fully fletched guide on how to get all of your ascendancies done, explaining the bossfights and what things to look out for when completing them through sanctum (which is the easier option). Have fun with PoE2!

re: Disenchant vs. Selling --- I've been selling all of my (non-salvageable) blue items, since I have quite a surplus of Transmutation Orbs. I think this is the better strategy, even in the early game, since you want to have enough gold to gamble and (especially) to snap up expensive clutch rares that appear in the merchant inventory --- since you won't always be able to farm enough gold before you level up and reset the merchant wares.
I'd say gambling in the early game is not really worth it at all, because the items you get are based on your character level. Perhaps the only exception being gambling for a weapon on solo self found, if you really need one. However selling a couple blues and rares when you are low on gold is always a good idea, so you always have enough spare gold if a vendor sells a great item :)
@@Knetterkoekje Yeah exactly -- it's more a question of "what's most valuable and when". In my (very limited) experience, I found myself always hurting for gold in the early game while having a surplus of Transmutation Orbs; disenchanting a blue for 1/10th of another vs. selling it for a few hundred gold was a nobrained for me. (And I have been using my Transmutation Orbs fairly regularly, but I've perhaps been lucky with my drops and haven't really _needed_ to, so maybe that's why my experience is skewed towards gold)
11:30 for accuracy, remember the estimation is only for versus monsters at the same level as you! your accuracy estimation from previous levels won’t change. and if you outlevel them, you’re more likely to have a capped accuracy than not.
This is some great context, I was unsure about the intricacies of accuracy. On top of that I think its fair to add that evasive monsters can still evade your attacks even at 100% accuracy. Thank you for sharing!
There are 4 trials in total with 8 points available. You get your first 4 points from the trial in act 2 normal and then the second around level 50 in act 2 cruel. You need to drop the respective items for each trial requiring you to run a certain level zone. To answer your question, you should be getting 4 points during the campaign and the other 4 are endgame content. You can also complete them with the trial of chaos (ultimatum). Here is some more info: www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Ascendancy_class - I am working on a noob friendly guide that will teach you how to complete all of them easily :) Well except for the 4th trial, that one is actually difficult.
The value checker tool is so handy! thank you very much. It does lump all resistances together in a single pseudo mod though. Do you know of a way to split them?
My pleasure, glad you've found the video to be helpful. You should be able to select resistances seperately on most items, its possible that some functionality is still lacking as the tool is under development and in beta currently.
The tool developer just reversed the behaviour of resistance pseudo grouping, its off by default now, but you can reenable it in the settings. Just update the tool.
I am afraid I will have to give You the bad news, nope :(. However the trade website is very responsive on mobile phones, so you can use that as an alternative to use the trade website while playing on your console. I really wish these kind of quality of life features were also implemented for console.
I just got all 6 characters to the beginning of act, 2 I killed the hyena boss with each one. And got the mobile town moving. And that's as far as i've gotten
There are several bosses that are great early game farms. There was actually a bug with a rare beetle that has been fixed that people were farming for 30-50 exalted orbs an hour inflating the price of divine orbs massively. It just depends on what level your character is and the level of the zone with the boss you're trying to kill to not have a big loot penalty :D
You should be able to yes, however skills have both a character level requirement and an attribute requirement. Just make sure you have enough str, dex and or int for the gems you are trying to use :) Good luck have fun!
I’ve been perma farming T14 maps, juicing them as much as I can… and I haven’t seen a single raw divine, nor seen an item worth more than 3-4 ex. Since I started 2 weeks ago…this game has a way to go for the endgame. When’s POE1 ladder reset?
When you're still in the campaign absolutely, lay the emphasis on trading. But using transmutes, augments and regals is something you should be doing at any point in time when looking for upgrades :)
bummer. You speak a bit too fast and your accent is just different enough to make it hard for My 60 year old years to understand you. I'm replaying over and over to get your tips! *LOL* Cheers.
I am so sorry! I figured my pace of speaking could have been a little bit too fast for some people, but I was trying to squeeze in as much info as possible to make the most of my audience time. Best PoE2 beginners guide out there by far. How you listed every reward as well is amazing. The map UI is so clunky.

Trading is the most important thing, best gear by far comes from trading
Just a comment. Gold is important early when you first start. Most gear comes from vendors.
