Many thanks, will be arriving in Christchurch in about 3 weeks and will have a month on South Island touring in a motorhome, and 3 weeks on the North Island. Your videos have helped greatly in planning my trip!

Im traveling solo in February, what's the most cost effective road trip for south Island? Van seems too big for a person despite freedom camping option. Should i just rent a small regular car and stay at hostels?
Good question! Without knowing too much about your interests, ages and budget my first thought would either be going with Kiwi Experience (coach & hostel style) or with Haka Tour. Guess you can google them and check them out. Let me know how you go with either or 👍
Great video & keep up the good work
I'm glad you like it!
I've looked at so many websites to help me plan and this video is the most helpful thing I've come across.
Glad it was helpful!
The Lindis Pass from the Southern Lakes to Christchurch, passing Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo is one of the best drives in NZ.
Yes, it’s a wonderful drive!

hi..what place in south island best to visit in summer session?.thankyou
Pretty much all places, it very much depends on your interests. If you into hiking then Fiordland NP. If you into beaches then Abel Tasman NP.
@@virtualjourneysnzthankyou 👍
