Uk hoarders are from a different history and vibe than the American hoarders. It’s wild to see all these different shows on RUclips. I feel like I’m not the only one bingeing them for inspiration
maybe there is a reason, but the camera never pans out to show the whole room when they are done at least, and it is annoying. i hope someone on the show will consider this helpful criticism. lol
Some plates are so pretty. I have about 5 in total tucked away (German ones) and only one is on the wall (smaller one) and it's perfect in the kitchen. I have a beautiful red and pink floral one but the colour of kitchen doesn't match but I couldn't part with it. And a beautiful pink and blue bird one put away. There were some amazing coloured plates a few years ago. Maybe one day they will make a comeback. I don't like seeing piles of plates on people's walls though. A tad old fashioned.
Not sure it was a good idea to leave to lady to it, I haven’t finished watching the episode but if they leave and expect her to continue by herself, then I highly doubt she’s going to do it
Maryann seems unprofessional. It seems like she’s looking for things for herself. She actually asked the one lady if she could have a sleeping bag for her own dogs!
Save/buy those plates... In investing it is called 'buy the dip" .... in 50 years someone will pay your descendants millions of dollars ... well, thousands?
@@jb6712 yeah, my kids don't want my china, so I'm gonna sell it and use the money I feel like these guys, I don't want it to end up in a garage sale for pennies.
Lmao. Assets usually have a value, and not just speculation. People were crazy about all kinds of things (Tulip financial crisis) and got burned badly. Keeping clutter as "investments" is garbage advice.
@@lelexoxo303 Garbage advice ... love it. My Grandmother's dishes from Italy were sold at auction for $8500 dollars. My Father had your 'personality' and wanted to trash them. Then when they sold ... He took all the money. Good luck with yourself.
They talk about how much they can sell. They talk about pounds. They should tell us how much in America money. I am just curious. When they talk then I understand. Am I the only one who is curious.

That isn't even a big mess at all.its just some stuff. After watching Hoarders, her house is just a couple things to sort.
Marian looks a bit like Kim of "How Clean is your House?" 😊
Yes... I agree ... I keep taking a second look and wonder if they are trying to pull a 'fast one' on us!!!!
Belle ... I keep looking... They MUST be sisters!!!
I totally agree! Just with less sass. XD...
what I think too
John and Peter - can we just talk about their lovely garden? Wow.
So true, I have rewound a couple of times just to admire their garden!
I think I saw a Spectrum and a Sega Genesis in that summer house. Those are probably worth more than those watches.
I wish they would have a sustainability and recycling expert as well.
My thoughts too! So much of it goes to waste!

The stupidly used "lol" won't help.
@@jb6712 yes it does. lol

Jokes aside, you could have sold all the plates for 5£ each, if not 10£, if you sold them individually online.
Oh I loved that mirror. They could have used it somewhere else🥺
John and Peter's garden though ❤️
Would it not be better idea to sell on EBay than to rely these people to give good deals?
Well Ebay would of courrse be a great idea. But it would dor obvious reasons not make as good television...
Too much work

Of course!
You need to find a Gilbert & Sullivan collector for the Queen Victoria lithograph.
Curtis ripping off the owners as usual.
I want the Alien Magazines
He went to the Barras in Glasgow expecting to get a good price for the plates???? There are plenty of better places to sell things in Glasgow!
When did he ever make good choices/money?🙄

Very happy for Sheila
John and Peter are adorable :)
I would’ve kept the mirror, it wasn’t too big!
Why do these horders think they will get so much money for their stuff. People want things for nothing nowadays!
If they spend money for them?
Because that's how they think
I would have donated them to a thrift store to give the bargain hunters a thrill and get stuff out of my house.
@@pathoefle3948 Thats so funny!
Because many of them actually did get more money online than the so-called “experts”.

The pound was replaced by the Euro several years ago. Each US dollar is worth 1.16 euros.
