    You, my friend, found a new subscriber for your fire emblem out realm trials! This is so informative and I wish you luck with all the RUclips algorithm to get more subscribers for engage and the future fire emblem game that will have a similar structure

      Excellent! Thank you, glad you enjoy it! I also hope that they flesh this out in the next Fire Emblem, I would be so hype for it!

    Ooh 👀 I’m definitely checking out the streams! I’m interested in seeing what builds people pull out
    I’m probably gonna do a new save just to grind resources throughout the game

      Be ruthless and shameless, go normal/casual so your units never permanently die, then you can auto battle all of the grinding in skirmishes and stuff (it's what I did, lol.)
      Thanks for checking it out! I'll even fire up a new stream tonight and play a few rounds, I'm currently attempting to increase the quality of my streams, they get pretty blurry sometimes but I've figured out how to fix that I think!
      I also might even do a YT video on some of the common/powerful builds and explain why I believe they are so good. Although, the skills I cover in this video (hold out, DP, miracle, bane) are some of the most common/powerful skills as it is. Still, there are some cool things you can do with the emblems, which is probably what I would focus on.

      @@unhingedmanchild I would be excited to see a video on builds! I’m currently trying to figure out if things like Soren Bond ring + Mage knight Boucheron, Wolf knight Louis/Vayle, Celica echo Alcrest are worth it lol
      I’ll also keep an eye out for your future streams mate! Good luck to ya~

    The book III effect of veronica’s book of worlds can kill hold out characters. You just have to wait 3 times lol.

    I feel like holdout miracle is easy to get around because you can just use engage attacks, if a unit has it they’re also less threatening because they don’t have an emblem ring, and it’s not the kind of thing I’d want to use on offense either. So imo it’s not actually that good. Especially because status staffs control the enemies so well.

      @@samkeiser9776 Yes, holdout miracle is much worse if you have emblem rings available, but I didn't have the DLC at the time of this video, and I still believe it's a high tier defense option nonetheless. If offense is using engage attacks to kill a non-emblem defense unit, that should mean the other defense units with emblem rings have a slightly better chance at doing their thing.
      Holdout and miracle are mostly for defense, for sure. The AI is abusable enough that it really needs these kind of dumb luck abilities to sometimes do hilarious things

    I forgot about this gamemode lol. Wish I was motivated to cap out all of my units to play it.

      @unhingedmanchild  4 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, it's a bit like Pokemon in that way, the team prep before you can actually play the endgame PVP.
      I forgot to mention in the video, but you can go to your bedroom and change the difficulty to the easiest difficulty to make training your units easier. That's what I did after beating maddening - switched to normal for the post game PVP grinding, cuz the story difficulty doesn't affect anything in tower of trials.

    do you know what the highest ranking might possibly be? and do the rewards ever get good ?

    • @unhingedmanchild
      @unhingedmanchild  3 месяца назад +2

      The highest ranked player I have seen was 2357 IIRC. That player (Japanese name, I don't know it) has an insanely powerful defense team, leagues above any other defense I have played. My own highest rank is 2204, but I'll keep climbing in time when I get to play more.
      Afaik the rewards are not relative to your rank. You get better rewards for winning, but it's still often things like support gifts and SP books. I don't think there are any "Outrealms exclusive" rewards, which is a real shame IMO.

      My current battle code ID is as it says in the YT video screen caps:
      2VKKL0N
      I will probably change it in a week or two, but it's pretty good as is even now.

    does the defense team even matter for your rank/score?

    • @unhingedmanchild
      @unhingedmanchild  3 месяца назад +2

      It does matter. Whenever your defense team is defeated, you lose some rank and the attacking player gains some rank.

      Very interesting 🤔I like lots of turn-based games, both video and board games! I primarily play Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Heroscape, and AotP - these games are probably the overwhelming majority of all of my content over the last ~10 years, but especially over the last ~5.
      Do you play Fire Emblem at all?
