She poked him in the eye and horses are very sensitive with their eyes. He was warning her to keep her fingers to herself. The Guard is an excellent rider and he knows how to use spurs properly. He really has a strong bond with his horse ❤

      She was rubbing his nose, then looked back at the camera, meanwhile the hand goes up his face and THREE fingers go into his eye. (I could not see how long her finger nails were, but they obviously hurt him). As he lifts his head she turns round and her hands slide down to his lips. Then he grabbed the perpetrator's fingers as pay back.. Hope it hurt her as much as she hurt him.
      I get the heebi jeebies when long nails are stroking a horse's face. Many times I have seen hands glide over the eyes, particularly when the person looks away for a second or two. 🫣
      I do hope you video makers told the guard. That horse needs to have his eye checked by the vet for scratches or any other damage.
      Time they put an end to all the horse touching. It's a danger to the horse and they cost mega bucks to procure, train, feed and look after 😡🐴❤

When no treat was forthcoming it bit down to see if it needed to apply a little more pressure. The horse quickly realised it wasn’t food and let go. There are signs, these are working animals & highly trained guards not something out there for people’s amusement. By all means visit, stand so you can have your photo but you don’t have to be right up against the horse. There’s no respect, no thought of how difficult it must be to stand there for hours being harassed & subjected to noise all the time.

    There at 10:12 comes the Pit Bull, "Wots all this then?" He's so excited he's about to pull his woman's arm off, and right next to him, at face level, are babies in strollers. You can tell the guard is worried about the dog for his horse's sake, but the baby parents haven't a care.

    • @Kat-mu8wq
      @Kat-mu8wq Год назад

      I don't think it would be a Pitbull,those are illegal to own in the UK under the dangerous dog act. It may be a mixture, possibly American bulldog with a Staffordshire terrier or something. It would be very dumb to take an illegal dog where there's tons of police. They take away any Pitbull whether showing aggression or not and put it down, unless you have a license to have the dog.

    Cyd in MD, USA. I've watched several of these videos. I DO NOT think tourists should be allowed to touch the horses faces. Substances could be "shared" with the horse that might be causing upset. Watch how the horse seems to work its mouth and drool. If your channel has some influence you should mention this to the office of the guards.

    Don't you just adore this horse?. Taking things into his own hands; so to speak. Telling this lady to leave him/ her alone. But the icing on the cake for me was when the guard actually patted the horse, no the neck. Well done that horse. You taught her a lesson 😅😅😅

    There is no worse way to spook an already nervous horse than to try to pet its face. If you wouldn't do it to a dog, don't do it to a horse! 🥺The guard did a great job maintaining control and was so good with his horse. ❤

    I've noticed that the Guard Horses are proud and intelligent Official Beings, they know their worth, and really dislike standing in manure in public, theirs or another horse's. I would feel the same & refuse to cooperate. I reccomend the employment of an official stable boy to remedy the situation throughout the day. Even humble town parades have a clean up crew... this is The King's Palace Guard.
