@@KaioshinCurt I was going to say I might only be partially right and that maybe Buu-tenks didn't use it on Gohan in the manga. But I just checked and yup, he also did it in the manga. However in both cases, Buu doesn't form the move with his finger tracing the air. He just throws it like a regular ki attack. But in the Super manga, Gohan traces it like Gotenks. So thats interesting.🤔 Maybe somewhere off panel, Gohan saw Gotenks use it?

Hmmmmm it seems that Gohan in the Dragon Ball Super manga managed to somehow combine his Ultimate form with his Base form making them one and the same this could potentially lead to Gohan achieving a brand new form all together.
@@saudbintalib5701 Not all of them. In the Tenkaichi games, he’s always in that state. Same with the Raging Blast Series. In the newer games it’s used as a transformation. Point is, it’s really unclear if Potential Unleashed is a transformation or not.

Gohan was handled just fine in the DBS manga for me, he doesn't need to beat a main villain or be the centre of attention to be "good writing". Seeing Gohan mature as a fighter and live out his dream as a scholar since the Buu arc is good enough for me. I see Gohan being the Clark Kent type of character going forward
I don't feel the same way as you man, if you look back at the cell saga he became the youngest saiyan to turn super saiyan i just think his potential was wasted. Look at future trunks, his is even better than Gohan

Just because he is not stronger than Goku or Vegeta that doesn't his potential is wasted. Gohan doesn't train as much as Goku or Vegeta, because he actually works for a living and has a family. Future Trunks is fighting and training more than Gohan due to the life he has had to endure. I think that the ultimate form is like the Saiyan Beyond God transformation that Goku and Vegeta uses before before advancing to Super Saiyan Blue. The only problem is that no one bothered to explore it to its fullest. Also the three divine beings, Angels, Destroyers and Kai represents the three core psychological structures of human personality, Instinct, Ego, and Superego. According to Sigmund Freud, who introduced this theory, instinct is the primal nature of a person, where you do what you want to be the strongest and the best. This correlates with the mentality of Goku who constantly strives to be the best. Then there's Vegeta who always has a pragmatic mindset, even if he's struggling with arrogance, envy, and other emotions. In the three mindsets, Ego is the concept of reality. Also Ego is another name for pride and no one has as much pride and ego as Vegeta himself. Lastly Superego which represents the morality aspect of the trinity and in all three of the Saiyan Warriors, Gohan always has a moral high ground, even if the other two are stronger and their powers are not something to be underestimated. In conclusion I think that whatever that comes at the end of Gohan's Ultimate Form will be his own version of Ultra Form. But unfortunately it won't make Gohan stronger than the other two as they are constantly training and pushing themselves.

Gohan and piccolo showed great endurance during that fight which leads me to believe that gohan is probably stronger then 17 in the manga and piccolo is probably stronger then buu in the manga which would make a z fighters ps look like Goku > Vegeta > Gohan > 17 > piccolo =\> buu > every other z fighter
@@HappyLilJimmy Piccolo said as much, calling Gohan the third strongest fighter after Goku and Vegeta. I’m pretty sure that was even true during the ToP, aside from maybe Frieza. Given the fight I think Piccolo may be stronger than 17, but really they’re probably close to equals.
Good video 👍 Gohan in the Moro arc still has some pretty impressive feats. Being the only one to remain conscious after the battle with Moro73, landing the most hits (despite the power gap), and also withstanding a barrage of ki blasts from Moro + being choked.

Gohan and Kefla ending their match in a draw shows that he can be a great fighter with great power, but like the girls, he needs more time to master his saiyan power. His earthling evolution is strong and efficient, but it’s only his base power. Once he masters his saiyan power with his human evolution, he’ll finally be able to break his limits freely without losing himself in battle.
Nice colaboration video with Saiyan Scholar, well done you too in this topic. For my opinion, i think it was like SS said, his rapid growth was due to fully focus his battle instincts along with balancing his human and saiyan potentials in equal with no need to employ any transformations to mutiply his fighting power quickly like all non-godly and godly SS forms do.

Goten and Trunks, got it too easy also. Kale at least, got it in a different way, in the manga, it wasn't too rushed, like the anime. Goku and Vegeta, deserved SSJ2. Caulifla didn't get it, in the manga.

We clearly saw it from Gohan to both ssj and ssj2. Another hand we did not see how become Vegeta and Goku unlock the levels. We know two things Vegeta quit being fighter and Goku wants to stay death. They have no reasons to train. But when came Buu saga Tori act he never write that and gave them this power. If we also think that way I think Vegeta unlock to ssj2 same way as ssj but Goku I can not found a good answer. Also Goku how become ssj 3? We also have no answer. @@jasonone8726 Emotions. I never denied Goten and Trunks went ssj too easly but I tried to explain how Toriyama could give a good reasons for them but he chouse just happened. And it is matter how a saiyan grew up with and how. Goku grew up with dragon balls and he knows if someone dies he can revive him just whissing until Krillin's second time dies. He knew he can not revive his friend and his rage gives him the legendary ssj. Anotherhand Vegeta grew up with tough of he is the high class warior and this fed his ego. First Goku who was low class warior went ssj and unknown saiyan went. If Goku rasied like low class warior he can not be the man now he is or Vegeta's did not know he is a prince and high class warior can not get the ssj in the first place.
Like gohan in the super manga is just scary remember that the only people above him are literally powered by god ki or use godbased items/magic. Plus I would say the fight before Moro caused his power to jump it’s just that the gap between Moro and gohan was too big to really notice kinda like when Gohan went ballistic against Freeza the first time not when he pushed him back but before that. The fact that Moro went out of his way to note the jump in power is honestly shocking other than gokus jump in raw power I do t think he verbalized about any other power boost/change now I think he noted the technique vegita used but not a power jump(trying to cover my basis) I honestly think since gohan isn’t going to use ssj goku could teach him the kioken to you know show he’s earned his respect not just as a son but as a fighter with his own ideals, since super manga goku no longer uses it.

Either way, the fact that Kale was able to get the better of them was quite the feat. She would've gotten one shotted if she was no match Goku or Frieza.
Her power was going up and whichever low power Goku and Frieza was using against her got overpowered. However like Frieza said if he was taking her seriously that wouldn’t happen. Which of course makes sense. That line wasn’t in there for no reason. Remember there’s no killing in the tournament so stronger fighters being suppressed against weaker fighter makes sense. No Kale in the manga and in the anime is now SSB or Golden Frieza level.
wait gohan doesn't like fighting? I mean sure he was scared easily when he was little but I always felt like that was chichi's fault by pushing him into training instead of letting him train with his dad,I never thought gohan hated fighting,cause it looked like he rather help fight instead of studying 24/7,I do think he didn't want to fight anymore after starting a family,but I think that should've pushed him even harder to train so he could protect his family
I still stand by that if it took Gohan 3 years to get even remotely strong as base Goku, then his potential isn’t as ridiculous as DBS makes it out to be. His base shouldn’t be this strong.
Prior to Granolah Arc, Gohan was easily the strongest Saiyan without a SSJ transformation. Even Broly needed SSJ to take on Blue Goku. If he trained consistently or even used the HTC, he’d be the strongest. But the writers only want to use Goku and Vegeta so it’ll likely never happen.
#ENDERS I assume they wrote Gohan differently in the anime for at least one of two possible reasons: 1) They want the anime and manga to be different. 2) The decision to change the events is based on what is easier to animate.

How Strong Gohan can get in my opinion? depends on the ppl he fights. His power rises as he fights stronger opponents in case example: ssj2 Goku and ssj2 kefla.
#enders I feel like Gohan is kinda plot armor, his power just fits whatever they need it to... I mean I get that on a more vague spectrum that's how everyone is db is but I mean, they have written Gohan so if he can't defeat someone you would think he could, it's because he doesn't train, doesn't like fighting etc, and if he punches above his weight class, it's because he has loads of potential

Well yeah, that's how he has been, since he was introduced. He lets himself go, when he doesn't train and gets weak. But the moment he takes stuff seriously and puts some work in, he's a tank. Gohan has the most potential, in the whole series.

When Gohan first went Mystic he asked Supreme Kai if he can go Super Saiyan. Supreme Kai said he could, however the only difference is that his hair would change. Potential unleashed is his full potential in his highest form.
Everything about the manga is just right. Gohan has the Piccolo Gi instead of the Goku Turtle Hermit Gi Gohans potential was shown to actually mean something other than side character to Goku And instead of Goku stealing the entire spotlight with his shiny new form of the week Gohan is the one to tie and take down Kefla.
In the anime he Is written as friezas equal. In the manga it's clear after that kelfa fight that he was stronger since frieza was struggling with just kale who is weaker than a fusion of herself with caulifa as stated by vados

Gohan's ultimate form has always been just his base. It was the super anime that made it into a form.

In the fight with Sagambo, 17 & 18 had to tap out while Piccolo & Gohan kept fighting. That’s also pretty impressive even if they didn’t win.

We clearly saw it from Gohan to both ssj and ssj2. Another hand we did not see how become Vegeta and Goku unlock the levels. We know two things Vegeta quit being fighter and Goku wants to stay death. They have no reasons to train. But when came Buu saga Tori act he never write that and gave them this power. If we also think that way I think Vegeta unlock to ssj2 same way as ssj but Goku I can not found a good answer. Also Goku how become ssj 3? We also have no answer. I agree with you Goten and Trunks had have too easy for get ssj but not easy as u6 saiyans. They grow up with Vegeta and Gohan who are already ssj and we know Goten always miss his dad. After Goku's back we still can see he was still had this feelings for his dad's love when Vegeta hug Trunks. He had a good reasons. Trunks have a father like Vegeta clearly not the best father. Unlike Goten he do not have a brother/mentor like Gohan. I can accept that he turns ssj for hearing "I am proud of you son." from Vegeta. I can found good answers for satisfy me but for u6 saiyans no. There is no answer.

@@jasonone8726 Emotions. I never denied Goten and Trunks went ssj too easly but I tried to explain how Toriyama could give a good reasons for them but he chouse just happened. And it is matter how a saiyan grew up with and how. Goku grew up with dragon balls and he knows if someone dies he can revive him just whissing until Krillin's second time dies. He knew he can not revive his friend and his rage gives him the legendary ssj. Anotherhand Vegeta grew up with tough of he is the high class warior and this fed his ego. First Goku who was low class warior went ssj and unknown saiyan went. If Goku rasied like low class warior he can not be the man now he is or Vegeta's did not know he is a prince and high class warior can not get the ssj in the first place.
They need to make gohan as strong as goku if not stronger. This goku and vegeta thing they have going on every arc is getting annoying
Like gohan in the super manga is just scary remember that the only people above him are literally powered by god ki or use godbased items/magic. Plus I would say the fight before Moro caused his power to jump it’s just that the gap between Moro and gohan was too big to really notice kinda like when Gohan went ballistic against Freeza the first time not when he pushed him back but before that. The fact that Moro went out of his way to note the jump in power is honestly shocking other than gokus jump in raw power I do t think he verbalized about any other power boost/change now I think he noted the technique vegita used but not a power jump(trying to cover my basis) I honestly think since gohan isn’t going to use ssj goku could teach him the kioken to you know show he’s earned his respect not just as a son but as a fighter with his own ideals, since super manga goku no longer uses it.

Her power was going up and whichever low power Goku and Frieza was using against her got overpowered. However like Frieza said if he was taking her seriously that wouldn’t happen. Which of course makes sense. That line wasn’t in there for no reason. Remember there’s no killing in the tournament so stronger fighters being suppressed against weaker fighter makes sense. No Kale in the manga and in the anime is now SSB or Golden Frieza level.
Ehh, Goku underestimated Kale in the anime, then got smashed, these guys always underestimate strong fighters.

I mean sure he was scared easily when he was little but I always felt like that was chichi's fault by pushing him into training instead of letting him train with his dad,I never thought gohan hated fighting,cause it looked like he rather help fight instead of studying 24/7,I do think he didn't want to fight anymore after starting a family,but I think that should've pushed him even harder to train so he could protect his family

I still stand by that if it took Gohan 3 years to get even remotely strong as base Goku, then his potential isn’t as ridiculous as DBS makes it out to be. His base shouldn’t be this strong.

Prior to Granolah Arc, Gohan was easily the strongest Saiyan without a SSJ transformation. Even Broly needed SSJ to take on Blue Goku. If he trained consistently or even used the HTC, he’d be the strongest. But the writers only want to use Goku and Vegeta so it’ll likely never happen.

1) They want the anime and manga to be different.
2) The decision to change the events is based on what is easier to animate.

Well yeah, that's how he has been, since he was introduced. He lets himself go, when he doesn't train and gets weak. But the moment he takes stuff seriously and puts some work in, he's a tank. Gohan has the most potential, in the whole series.
