Devon puts a lot of pressure of everyone's hand, grip and drains them overtime, that's why he's getting better and better. That's devon's style to drain people, but in the first round, you can see him losing from time to time or having to be a long first round with a lot of draining in order to win. Devon's style didn't have much effect on genadi though, because genadi has ridiculous endurance for his size. Genadi is also really strong, but that was in the past, we don't know his potential at this moment, he got a surgery and he might not even be at his previous level anymore, cuz he just lost to michael todd.

Technical advantages. You can see he put some more thought into the setup and immediately stone walled Corey.

Devon secret is that he's strong in the center. He's weaker from 80 to 15 degrees of elbow extension. The only thing that saves him when he's extended is the kingsmove.
It's also that sinking down he can utilize more of his bodyweight. The straighter he stands up, the more he's just curling Corey. Standing up works if the hand goes away though.
Devon is the Best actor lol, for a moment i thought "Oh, Corey is so strong he is beating Devon like nothing" then the second round arrived and i never expected Devon being a damn wall lmao
Whenever you see Devon shaking and looking like he's losing I think its just him slowly limiting his strength from the top end, giving away position to the other guy but in doing that it puts him under a lot of stress because the other guy is then able to recruit more muscle fibres from Devon as opposed to just becoming a wall with perfect engagement and technique.
When Devon Pulls outside of competition, he's just getting a feel for the other guy. Then, when it comes to a real fight, he applies what he learned like any smart 3 time/weight Champion!! 😉🔥❤️💪🏼💯

This is the stop it's actually the legit that other arm wrestling freedom wasn't. Besides the mechanics in general for freedom are alittle different and funky. Too much movement is involved on a pad not even close to that much movement is involved many more angles too
