Alternatively, I use Hoshi at E2 lvl 30 she just tank the shots like a champ with Saria and Nearl both healing.

Ah. I did it almost the same. I have Ch'en (E2 Lv.50 Max Trust with S2 at M3) + Liskarm, Ptilopsis, Silence, Specter and Nearl.
I'll get Warfarin when she becomes available in the Store (soon, I think?)

i tried to do the combo. M2 chen didnt cut it. My Liskarm at e2 40 could actually tank the purple arrows.

How do you know when to put down gravel to tank the purple shot? Was counting shots to see if that's what you were doing but it wasnt always the same amount of shots till the next purple shot.
Silvercruise he does his purple shots after 6 actions ( can be either regular shots or placing down turrets)
I still have ticket from pre register. I only have perfurmer as AoE, cuora & matterhorn as defender. Should I pick up liskarm or silence?
Liskarm all day long. Silence is replaceable and Red isn't necessary for now
If you need good healer choose Silence. Cuora is a good defender btw thats a four star and easy to get...
personally i have pramanix liskarm and silence since early game. liskarm is a great defender but for most content cuora will be enough (don't invest in matterhorn unless you want to). silence is a generic healer with good atkspd buffs to other healers and remote healing so she could be a good pickup. i don't use pramanix much but her debuff can be very helpful in certain situations. personally i actually suggest going for red or pramanix because they are more unique and harder to find substitutes for, while liskarm and silence have easy alternatives (cuora or beagle for lisk, gavial or hibi for silence, etc.) additionally gavial and cuora are free from credit shop and certificate shop respectively, so they are easy to substitute

I tried a similar strategy to clear this map too. But instead of Ptilopsis and Gummy, I just bring Saria in.

lisk gives ally next to her (no diagonals) 1 SP every time she's hit and chens skill 2 is very powerful and instant (no duration, instant effect) so you can throw it out like candy
It does 500% physical and 500% magical/arts damage also, they are a very good duo can let you do stuff like this all the time

@@alicialaupica5084 haha nah, ptilopsis sp regen bonus doesn't even work on lisk or chen since they aren't the regen each second types, if theres no good spots for lisk+chen together shes goes great with meteorite too but her and chen are monsters as you can see

Hey 3c. Does Ch’en’s third skill make her a super boss killer?
her 3rd skill is really good if 1 on 1, but it there's multiple enemies its kinda hard to say since her strikes 10 random enemies around her. if the skill is master 2 or 3 i'd say she definitely is

It's not amazing on very high defense bosses though, since the damage on the single hits of S3 isn't super high.

If you want Chen to kill bosses it's recommended to bring warfarin or Sora to buff Chen then Chen will one shot the bosses with skill 3.she can even one shot the boss in chapter 7with warfarin buff

I might get called a cheap cheater or whatever but I did this map by shoving some SP battery up the ass of my SilverAsh and true silvering my way to victory.

E1 lvl60 Skadi, Platinum, Liskarm
E1 lvl50 Silence
E1 lvl30 Gravel
E1 lvl80 Saria I borrowed from a friend
3 slots of my own I never placed down
I'm happy I was able to do it with my own units I rely on since I don't really have much else besides the mentioned ( +the Saria assist, but that's an eventuality cause I'm buying Saria as soon as she hits the distinction shop )

trust me u can do it without her. the hardcore is Chen&Liskarm and all of others are replaceable.

Why not place Gravel on Faust for a bit of extra damage?
Gravel has less attack than Faust defense, the minimal dmg won't make a difference here.
Just3c My point is it’s better than nothing. Something (even the 5% in this case) is better than literally nothing. There’s no benefit to not doing it. So why do something with no benefit rather than doing something with benefit, even if minimal?

You only need her at E1 for the SP regen. Anymore than that is just increase stats.
but she got 1 shot by the purple arrow, and she cannot tank those sarkaz even when there r 2 healers

also, use her skill 1
Faust shooting purple arrows every 7th shot (including ballista activation animations), so you can timed it for gravel to take that hit.
@@lurkinglurkingo_O You should watch the video again, all purple arrows were taken by Gravel, not Liskarm. Liskarm needs to be like E2 lv10 to JUST survive the purple arrow with max initial HP, but she was only E1 in the video.
Well, Warfarin and Ptilopsis were also providing dat DPS boost... nice run nonetheless
Ptilopsis only works with per second SP gains ...

S2 can do huge amounts of physical and arts damage. S3 looks flashy but only does physical damage. For general use S2 is more practical

it depends. but S2 suit for most of the situations.
if there are lots of enemies coming together then use S2.
if there are lots of enemies coming together but one of them is really dangerous that can due huge amount of damage in one hit then leave the other to real aoe op and use Chen's S3 to due with the exact dangerous one.
Ch’ens S2 does 500% AOE arts + physical dmg, and it hits air. Her S3 does 3200% physical dmg (320% dmg per attack x10), and stuns the target on the last hit for 4 seconds, but doesn’t hit air. It also retargets to a different enemy if she kills her first target before the 10 slashes are over.
Basically, S2 is the more universally useful skill while S3 is for massive damage against ground units that don’t have heavy armor, so it’s more niche but still powerful.
I haven't E2 any Operators let alone E2 and M3 S2 Ch'en

@@akailoverpok7427 E2 stand for Elite 2. Elite is the Limit Break of Arknights. M3 is Mastery 3 aka the highest tier you can upgrade your Operator skills to, first you can upgrade it to lv7 at Elite 1, only at Elite 2 can you do the Mastery from 1 to 3. Take a lots of resources/materials but it's all worth it
Honestly, don't listen to people when they say Ch'en is good for reactive playstyle, just don't. Before I get inevitably roasted for this, please listen first. A guard's already hefty cost that gets larger with each redeployment, the redeployment time, and the fact she can't kill upon using S2 before retreating just makes her absolutely terrible at it, even with Silverash reducing the redeployment time, it's still terribly long. Would be fine if she can one-shot beefier dudes, but no. I mean, you guys can't miss the fact that she can't even one-shot one of the fully healthy dogs at the start even with at S2M3, which the skill describes as 500% in both physical and magic damage. I honestly think Ch'en is better performing as she always has as a non 1v1 Guard do, stationary dps. She recharges her SP faster that way, and as the vid suggest, especially when abused with Liskarm or Warfarin not to mention help other SP per attack operator recharge.
Of course, this is just my opinion, anyone can have their own playstyle and opinion. If one is willing to play Ch'en as a redeploy unit and work around the flaw, then by all means, don't let me stop you. Do as any player would, have your own playstyle

I agree with what you said about chen so far, however, do note that you dont have to use her one playstyle exclusively. She can be done using reactive playstyle and also be done what is shown in this video. What is good about chen is the fact that she is very flexible with her S2. On a side note, she is fine as reactive playstyle, you just need to know what units can she one shot with her S2, like drones and those exploding spiders. Personally ill use chen reactive playstyle once or twice, then ill redeploy her normally
Her +1sp every 4s can combo with many operators so I agreed that chen is better to stand for long periods. Chen is tier 0 for when you pair her as combo. Dmg will be so big.
Yea how about lappland tho? Just m3 her, still find her e1 hard to use, since im suck at timing, otherwise there are moments when u cant possibly time correctly

You can do this with 3ops using chen liskarm and saria. Someone did it earlier using 3 ops
Yeah 3 maxed out operators are too whale for me, I will settle with this instead
why u compare CN videos to Global? they are way ahead (near 10 months progress) and has maxed out mastery 3. those takes ages to level up

Orundum shards are for dokutahs that mostly maxed out the operators they need and I think that its such a waste producing orundum shards in factory when your a newbie :3
