The Fear of Fear is their new 6 song EP, which this song is from. Jaded is my favorite of the 6. EP has a bit of everything, this is a good mix of clean and harsh, "Cellar Door" is all harsh, "Ultraviolet" is heavy cleans. First EP or album with new bassist Josh Gilbert (ex-As I Lay Dying). Guitarist Mike Stringer recorded a lot of the bass parts, but Josh is credited with bass guitar on the EP also, and background vocals. I've heard that he is singing some of the cleans in the live shows as well. Other songs to try: Blessed Be, Holy Roller, Constance, and Rotoscope.
Ttheir band knows how to deliver a sonic assault that leaves you craving more. At the moment I'm loving October Ends' new song, you should definitely react to it!
If you want to hear more angst, try the first song they ever wrote, The Beauty of Suffering. No one reacts to it anymore. Hell, watch Courtney do a live in studio version of it... it's better than the recorded version.
This song is nominated for a Grammy--- Best Metal Performance. Courtney would be the first female to win in the Metal category.

The Sirius XM Live session version is the best.
Love the title!
Youre right on wiith the Lacey from Flyleaf comparison. Id also say the band Kittie and Shirley Manson from the band Garbage.
Their song "Rotoscope" has a heavy "Garbage" vibe, I feel. 🤘😉
@scottfield5849 Yes it does. Garbage, NIN, and Hole
If you wanna hear desperation try the first song off this EP. It's called Cellar Door.
Please give your reaction to Vanny Vabiola's new cover song "Thank You For Loving Me", it just released on 23/11/2023. 🙂
I will. Thank you.
