@@alecholler8013 I appreciate you asking. I am currently 1 m 7 days off booze and 16 days 19 hrs off of weed. This is the longest I have been off both since a food poisoning incident about 9 years ago that forced me into 3 weeks of sobriety. Things are hard but using was harder.
Substance use in skateboarding doesn't seem any different than any other group or subculture. My skate friends became addicts after they stopped skating.
We try to pull a mix of skaters from different backgrounds. That being said, a handful of people we reach out to for panels just don't feel comfortable speaking in public
constructive criticism -Patrick said he's terrified of public speaking and it showed , sorry but i have to be the asshole, as someone struggling the last thing I need is someone stuttering, mumbling going off subject, neen and chandler kept me engaged
i think it was brave of him to be there and speak, i appreciated him even though he might've been "stuttering, mumbling going off subject", i mean, its not actually the last thing you need i think. just throws the ball back a little
11/18/33 after 13 years of IV use. I love this, I skate and look up to all these guys🧡
