I am watching this as an assignment for my college course. I appreciate the opportunity to learn of other religions, without interfering with their worship. I am Christian and as a Christian we are called to witness to all people. But there is a way to do this without diminishing their beliefs. Jesus would not want you to tear someone down because they have a different belief than you. I will apologize to all involved for anyone who has disrespected your faith by any actions of my fellow Christians posts. Thank you for sharing your messages and helping me learn more about your faith.
Gandhi spoke well when he said," I like your Christ, I don't like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ." I am Catholic. I am reminded of a lot of aspects of my own faith when I watch Hindu worship. Respect builds bridges across communities of faith. I for one appreciate the words of Vivekananda when he spoke well of Jesus and acknowledged Him as a manifestation of God.
Thank you for providing me with my first online religious ceremony. I appreciate Indian and Hindu culture for the beautiful ways they express themselves and their gentle nature. This service was a good example of that. I was moved several times by the sermon. I think the colorful and somewhat extravagant vibrant religious practices and outfits are to be appreciated even though that is not my preferred style personally, it is still very endearing to me. Thank you to India for inspiring my gentle nature and reminding me to always be Heartfelt when expressing my feelings, always. God Bless India and the rest of the World. I am honored by how deeply Indian culture and people touch my Soul. Thank you Churkoo Village Mandir. With great admiration, Infinite Love and Respect, Kyle Ortiz ♥️🙏
Thanks so much for posting this video. I am watching several years later after this video was posted. I am a Christian and I enjoyed the message from the young lady stating "This too shall pass." Great experience.
This was a really great experience. Like many others here in the comment section, I too found this while doing some research for a project in college. It was awesome to watch this service. Thank you🙏
I am a Hindu and my views are open, my house has many doors!! Well said!! Hinduism/ santana dharma is so awesome!! I would love to visit a Hindu templw
I know this is an old video but if by chance someone happens across my comment who knows the answer, at the end the lady waves the plate in front of the guy singing, like I’ve seen done in front of the God Statues, why is that?
12:00 sounds a lot like the Lord's Prayer. So my question is this...did Christianity rip this off from Hinduism, or did Hinduism rip this off of Christians? Where did it originate?
@@emileemangual2102 You misunderstand how religion works, very few ideas in religion are original. Religions much older than Hinduism has had similar prayers and ideas.
I highly doubt that this is an authentic hindu prayer. The whole celebration is a bit syncretic. Anyway, there are a lot of papers about the origin of lord's prayer. We know that it is based on second Temple judaism texts.
Praying to Earth means bhoomi, want to live on earth , have to work and should think always only good related thoughts only, earth can ever give us anything? We know - no, because even leaves are doing photo synthesis, they are working hard, even leaves and plants, stop the nonsense, think ,,,,,
Look it says "blessed art thou" at time 14:17 which is literally biblical language, how there is a pulpit for preaching, how it is called "Sunday Morning Service", how there is a screen for worshippers to read along, and several other conducts that are directly plagiarized from Christianity.
There is only ONE GOD and His name is JESUS CHRIST He died for your sins please people repent of your sins God loves you and He will forgive you if only you come in repentance. This is idolatry what you're doing which God hates so I bring you the Word of God and tell you to choose life this what you're doing brings only death. I will be praying for you and may God have mercy on you
Hinduism is much much older than Christianity. How did you ever know that God hates Hinduism? The god of the Bible was focused on his hatred of the religions in the Middle Eastern area. And by the way, there are historical indicators that Jesus went to study in India!
Hahahaha your stupid hatefulness is not needed here, is that what your jesus teaches you, I'm staying far as possible from that freak. Yuck horrible violent religion.
Did you not realize the Hindu God is the Hebrew God? Did you not hear the "lord's prayer"? The Hindu prayer is the prayer that Christ teaches. I hope you are able to find him.... Seek ye first the kingdom within..... Jesus Christ

Thank you for sharing your faith online to us. Very nice to see people worship God. It is a positive thing.....
Such a nice ceremony you've filmed here. I wish I could visit and worship with you.
I’m Buddhist and now practicing Hinduism as well, so this is very helpful to my practice, so thank you

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Question: Is some of the service said in Sanskrit and also in Hindi? How much of Sanskrit is used in current Hindu prayer services?
Does anyone know if the story of her massage is about King Solomon in the OT bible
I love the king Solomon story
Muslims think differently about women . I glad you talk nicely about women .
Of course, it's ingrained in our culture :)

Hinduism came before Christianity so the Christians
most likely stole it from them
