I listened to this song a lot and when I heard what Michael did, I never looked at him differently or even placed judgement on his action. That battle belonged to God and him, not him and the world. To this day I still listen to the song, and I wish him best with his journey.

I can not understand why we are all so shocked about what he did, he it is just human, like you and i. The wonderful thing is that he admitted to what he has done, in the way a real Christian should do it. This confession is real, he did not try to blame others, he did the Christian thing, (not what he did), but confessing his sin the way it is. It is just like the woman caught in adultery, everybody ready to cast a stone, but not ready to judge themselves. May the Lord bless him and keep him in this truth.. If only more Christians will step up and do the same the world become like Heaven. Because then we will live in truth. I actually feel sorry for him, he acknowledged what he did and clearly feels bad about it. My sister lied about having breast cancer, she carried the lie on for several years and never actually admitted that it was a lie, but we found out that she was never a patient in the hospital she claimed to be going to and there was no doctor that she named or even a radiology unit at the particular hospital . I don't really know why people do this, but my sister invented this story after breaking up with her partner. I will pray for him. Why was the oxygen mask necessary ?.

I remember when I heard Michaels situation People close to me would ask me why I play that song. I told him that’s a song that I love it’s powerful and so is the man singing it. Mike is a very powerful worship Leader. He was healing from something I can tell you that and a lot of people are being helped through his worship music. We all have our stuff so I don’t like to listen to too many critical Christians that think they have it all together. I remember in the beginning when he was under siege. I cannot imagine doing something like this that would effect my family in the way that it has. To put your family through something like this is crazy in itself. As a mother I know how she must have suffered. Sleepless nights heart ache grieving for a child who is dying. Don't know how he could have done this to his family. For me I also play bass in Church. Michael Guglielmucci is also the former bass player of Planetshakers. I can also relate my experience with Michael Guglielmucci, I even struggled from the sin of pornography addiction too and I even got suspended from the music ministry 3 times already. Remember that we are all sinners. If we truly give our life to Jesus and repent, he can forgive us. REMEMBER THAT PORNOGRAPHY IS A SIN and it will lead to destruction.

At any point if he’d started to feel guilty he could have said he was now healed, but instead he let the cancer get worse. It seems like munchausens disorder. I really am so sad of what happened and while watching him sing and saw him I was crying. He had touched a lot of lives at hillsong and Joel was touched by him as well. Darlene was loving him there as well. I don't believe that they cancelled the song healer on the album. I support Michael in every way. Yes he kept us in the dark but I know he is loved by God. If I had a voice in this scenario, here I speak. This report was posted more than three years ago, and we still argue about it today. God loves this man. He had the gut to go up there and tell the truth. He was able to be true to himself and true to others. Now what does his song mean then? Although this comes as a shocker, it's GREAT because he's honest and open with who he really is. Now God can redeem him. It is beyond me that people are actually praising this man like some hero, or worse speaking as though he is a victim. Michael Guglielmucci is no better than Bell Gibson or any other con artist. He’s no hero. He is a vulture that preys on the vulnerabilities of others, not once caring how his behaviour effected others. My sister (Maree Helen Wade) died from cancer after being diagnosed at 19. She was just 22 years old years old when she died. She was Christian and loved God with all her heart and yet she was betrayed by the very people who were meant be fellow Christians. I watch my sister suffer, and I watch as people like him preyed on her grief and her strong desire to live. Everything from fake healing to miracle diets. Of course she wanted to live, she was so young. So called Christians told my sister that God had healed her. She held in to any promise than meant hope. Problem was it was false hope and because of that lie she never found piece and died in fear. She thought she must have done something wrong, or that her family had done something wrong in that God had abandoned her to die. God didn’t abandon her, people did. She was 22 years old and died afraid. I really wanted to say goodbye and tell her I loved her but I couldn’t do or say anything, I just say with her. I am angry because only the most heartless and narcissistic person would do what he has done. He not only faked cancer and pretended that God healed him, but he also took money that was raised for treatments that did not exist. He may as have spat in the faces of every person and child who has died of cancer. He trivialised the suffering of real cancer suffers. I watch my sister at times want to give up only to continue fight on. I watched my sister who was 18 months younger than me sit and rock because she was in so much pain due to treatments, and when the nurse took her into the other room I just sat in the first room cried because I seeing her in so much pain was awful. In the days leading up to her death I watch her struggle to breath and as the foam filling her lungs came out her mouth. My sister was the strongest person I have known. She should have live, but she’s gone. Michael Guglielmucci fakes cancers and yet he lives as though a hero. Uck……….

Let's make an illustration, if you are sick, the first thing you wanna do is to go your doctor. And tell him what you feel, your illness. I can not understand why we are all so shocked about what he did, he it is just human, like you and i. The wonderful thing is that he admitted to what he has done, in the way a real Christian should do it. I actually feel sorry for him, he acknowledged what he did and clearly feels bad about it. My sister lied about having breast cancer, she carried the lie on for several years and never actually admitted that it was a lie, but we found out that she was never a patient in the hospital she claimed to be going to and there was no doctor that she named or even a radiology unit at the particular hospital . I don't really know why people do this, but my sister invented this story after breaking up with her partner. I will pray for him. Why was the oxygen mask necessary ?.

I remember when I heard Michaels situation People close to me would ask me why I play that song. I told him that’s a song that I love it’s powerful and so is the man singing it. Mike is a very powerful worship Leader. He was healing from something I can tell you that and a lot of people are being helped through his worship music. We all have our stuff so I don’t like to listen to too many critical Christians that think they have it all together. I remember in the beginning when he was under siege. As a mother I know how she must have suffered. Sleepless nights heart ache grieving for a child who is dying. Don't know how he could have done this to his family. I don’t understand how you could look at your parents, your wife, your best friends and let them believe that you’re dying. The amount of fear they must have been living. His family have my prayers. At any point if he’d started to feel guilty he could have said he was now healed, but instead he let the cancer get worse. It seems like munchausens disorder. Then trying to blame it on porn? that way there’s this outside evil source to blame, not his own selfish need for attention. Instead of being judged as an attention seeker, people will congratulate him on his humility for admitting porn? Nope he is just continuing to deceive & manipulate. Plus his admission only came after a newspaper already broke the story.

I really am so sad of what happened and while watching him sing and saw him I was crying. He had touched a lot of lives at hillsong and Joel was touched by him as well. Darlene was loving him there as well. I don't believe that they cancelled the song healer on the album. I support Michael in every way. Yes he kept us in the dark but I know he is loved by God. If I had a voice in this scenario, here I speak. This report was posted more than three years ago, and we still argue about it today. God loves this man. He had the gut to go up there and tell the truth. He was able to be true to himself and true to others. Now what does his song mean then? Jesus asked the crippled man IF he wanted to be healed, IF he believed. God has grace, grace for every sinner, every liar, every thief. He is not excluded from this.

I’ll stand beside any others who confess. We all are told to “...confess our sins one to another...” There’s things i have to confess, and hope that I have the balls like God gave Mike.
I pray that we show the same grace and mercy that God bestows upon us, and also learn to separate the precious from the vile. Prove all things, and hold on to that which is good(1 Thessalonians 5:21). Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Although this comes as a shocker, it's GREAT because he's honest and open with who he really is. Now God can redeem him. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." -1 John 1:9. Hallelujah, he's confessed his sins! I think this took A LOT of character to do. It's not a time of judgment, but of mercy. It's in things like this that the world will see...how DO followers of Jesus act? Still with His love? It is beyond me that people are actually praising this man like some hero, or worse speaking as though he is a victim. Michael Guglielmucci is no better than Bell Gibson or any other con artist. He’s no hero. He is a vulture that preys on the vulnerabilities of others, not once caring how his behaviour effected others. My sister (Maree Helen Wade) died from cancer after being diagnosed at 19. She was just 22 years old years old when she died. She was Christian and loved God with all her heart and yet she was betrayed by the very people who were meant be fellow Christians. I watch my sister suffer, and I watch as people like him preyed on her grief and her strong desire to live. Everything from fake healing to miracle diets. Of course she wanted to live, she was so young. So called Christians told my sister that God had healed her. She held in to any promise than meant hope. Problem was it was false hope and because of that lie she never found piece and died in fear. She thought she must have done something wrong, or that her family had done something wrong in that God had abandoned her to die. God didn’t abandon her, people did. She was 22 years old and died afraid. I really wanted to say goodbye and tell her I loved her but I couldn’t do or say anything, I just say with her. I am angry because only the most heartless and narcissistic person would do what he has done. He not only faked cancer and pretended that God healed him, but he also took money that was raised for treatments that did not exist. He may as have spat in the faces of every person and child who has died of cancer. He trivialised the suffering of real cancer suffers. I watch my sister at times want to give up only to continue fight on. I watched my sister who was 18 months younger than me sit and rock because she was in so much pain due to treatments, and when the nurse took her into the other room I just sat in the first room cried because I seeing her in so much pain was awful. In the days leading up to her death I watch her struggle to breath and as the foam filling her lungs came out her mouth. My sister was the strongest person I have known. She should have live, but she’s gone. Michael Guglielmucci fakes cancers and yet he lives as though a hero. Uck……….

Whatever you may think, God used Micheal's lies to bring many closer to Him. All things work together for good for those God loves. Many people used this song to cling to Father. I have NO right to judge, and I can promise you this song has helped me from fainting, due my heart, and many other things like my hypertension.

The thing that bothers me about this story, is it's like they think people shouldn't have bought his song, when in fact the song itself is still powerful and true, and would have blessed a lot of people.
I dont care what anyone thinks of this song. Songs are written as a cry of the heart and it seems this was his heart's cry to be changed by a "Healer". A very anointed song given by God, which did indeed free him from the bonds of lies. Who are we to decide not to sing this song in church if God's the one who put it into form?
Healer song is God breathed...i believe that..and Mike Guglielmucci is one of the millions christians who are struggling with the same temptation... i still believe in Ps mike and Love him..i am praying for him..God will use this song to heal everybody to those who are hurting...

it takes great humility to confess such sin guys. We as Christians aren't "perfect" and as human beings, we fail; only JESUS can't fail us, we gotta remember that. God's faithful to forgive those who sin and confess it and we are nobody to judge a person, for non of us have not sinned! Remember Matthew 7:3 "Why do you look at the speck of saw-dust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" So, as sinners, let's pray for him that GOD may heal him.

He is humans, and his actions are not be judged by anyone! Only our God will judge him!
In this video, I can now prove that God is really a healer. He is a liar. And that is his illness that needs a cure from our healer. Let's make an illustration, if you are sick, the first thing you wanna do is to go your doctor. And tell him what you feel, your illness. So that, your doctor will know that you are sick and you need to be healing. And that's what Ptr. Mike did. He bravely confessed his illness cause he want a healing. How will God heal him if don't confess it? This is another victory of God. God is a healer.
