Hey guys, I see so many videos on the Bait Fuel in a freshwater setting, however I have not seen it being used
as a Saltwater bait scent. I have been using Pro Cure for both Saltwater and Freshwater applications for as
long as I can remember and have had great success. I'm on a tight budget yet I need a scent that can preform
in both settings. So have you done any scent comparisons between Bait Fuel vs. Pro Cure vs. Dr. Juice ? Which
in my opinion are probably best best Scents available. FYI I have not tried the Bait fuel as of yet. Thanks again.
Tight Lines and Screaming Drags! Any Thoughts??? I have not had much success with the Berkley Maxscent
so the jury is still out.

Hey Mike thanks for commenting. Personally i have used pro cure and Baitfuel. Not much salt around me where I am at. If i ever do get to the salt I will for sure try it out.

I agree on Maxscent. They just hang onto it longer. At least my experience. Hard to beat proven. IMO

So I’ve been thinking about this. Scent Release/dispersion is more important than the specific scent

That’s a great point! A lot of scents give an Immediate release. That’s what sets baits formulated with scent apart with baits that you add apart. Also, that explains why Maxscent is so dang good

Do you want to know where I had the best luck with it. Putting a Rapala for brown trout. Caught a 13lb + pounder and a 12 pound rainbow bowls using this fuel at night

Now that’s really cool! Might have to try it come winter time for some steelies and browns on some minnow baits on jig heads

I find when the fish are being vary finicky not really aggressive scent makes them more likely to hold on just a little bit longer so you can get a solid hook set that being said I have be experimenting with bait fuel when I do get bite on it they choke the soft plastic scents are best used on those slow days when the bite is far and few in between

Great observation and point. I truly feel like scent is the Great barrier of human scent. Bait fuel intrigues me. Since this video, i have seen glimpses where I’m like this stuff does work. Other times not so much.

Liquid Mayhem garlic craw smashes smallmouth.
I am sponsored by them, however.
