      I'm going to try this. I had cholerra years ago and my gut has never been quite the same (although years of kefir, sourkruat and collagen has helped). I have also had a lot more inflammation since my first bout of covid-19 which caused really nasty post viral inflammation.

    That was well explained. I'm glad you mentioned your dog. My latest Dachshund rescue also had many problems related to gut issues. Nearly a yr of trying everything possible, starting with all natural solutions, the colostrum is what made the most difference. From the day of taking it, only 1/16tsp for her size she's back to mostly normal.

      Gave it to my kitten, added a teaspoon to her food in month 2-3 and she's now almost 5 months and double the size of her sibling who lives outside with her mum. Literally double the size or even triple, looks like his mum not sister

    Hi. What improvements have you seen with your son that has the food allergies? Does he still have the allergies or did the colostrum help them fade away?

      Difficult to tell what helped since adding colostrum wasn't the only intervention. But his gut health has dramatically improved since introducing colostrum.

    Great video thank you. So I see a lot of people taking this every day all year long. In your opinion, is this something you should take for a few weeks and then quit, then maybe again 3 months later, and so on? If it helps heal a leaky gut, should you keep taking it to keep it healthy or just again later when you notice symptoms?

      There is no harm in taking it every day but your budget may limit its use to times when you really need it :)

      I'm not convinced the timing is super important but many people take it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning or before going to bed. We give our kids a tablespoon (they're 8 and 10 years old).

    Can i consume it even if I’m lactose intolerance? Also, what is a good brand of organic bone broth that you recommend to drink?

      You'd have to try and see how you feel with it. The product may have residual amounts of lactose. So it depends on how sensitive you are.
      Regarding bone broth, we usually make it ourselves because I can't handle garlic and onions (which is in most commercial products). But if you're doing well with spices, try www.kettleandfire.com/products/grass-fed-beef-bone-broth.

    Very interesting information. I noticed the studies does not make mention whether it is safe for those with cancer or had cancer. Do you know if studies it indicate if it is safe?

      I'm not aware of any potential issues in cancer patients but I know several people who have been using colostrum to support their cancer treatment.

    I’m about to start it from a company called Benevolent supplements. I’m going to try their product out but I’ve found another company with a higher icg at 50%. Im adding it to my nose to tail protein powder. I’m excited to see what happens

      It might but you'll likely also have to make other lifestyle changes to improve your immunity (e.g., remove most plant foods).

      I agree with your trainer. Creatine has benefits beyond what colostrum offers and there is no harm in combining them.

    We started colostrum about a week ago, we take a scoop straight to the mouth is sticky to the gums but I heard from the creator of the Company I ordered is good because all those nutrients are helping the gums😊 we are giving to our special needs son (dissolved with a little water)
    who has esophagus issues, he will have an endoscopy on September let's see .

      Great question! I never tried that but, I suspect, you could mix raw milk with colostrum to make yogurt. Colostrum alone might not be thick enough.

      I don't see colostrum (yet). The brand mentioned in the video is just one I used. But I always recommend unflavored versions because most flavors are made in the lab, even the "natural" ones.

      Good question. It depends on the temperature of your beverage. I'd say that if you stay within normal drinking temperatures, you should be fine. But anything over 104 F can cause proteins (including enzymes) to degrade.

      No. You can cure type-2 by stop eating carbs. I'm not aware of a cure for type-1.

      I’d take it on an empty stomach. Start with a single serving and increase to up to three over the course of a few weeks. Pay attention to how your gut responds to it.

      That depends what amount of colostrum you use for comparison. But even a glass of milk (from responsibly raised dairy cows) has only trace amounts of estrogen and nothing you should be worried about. Your favorite hand soap, plastic food storage containers and other things have more estrogen (or estrogen-mimicking compounds) than milk.

    I've started taking this product along with turmeric (both powder form) before I go to bed. I'll say this; Most every night, this stuff makes me sleep like a baby.
    I really think I've stumbled upon something really good with this combination.
    PS - I also give my cat a small dose of the colostrum 3 times per week.

      @@marywoodard4241 I have a 16 year-old Siamese cat 🐈. I mix the colostrum in her Hartz stew 3 times a week. She is a small cat (no more than 12 pounds), so I give her a little less than half of a teaspoon.
      I really think it helps her. Her coat is incredibly shiny, and she seems to be in excellent shape for her age (or any age).

      We all don't do well with pasteurized dairy but are fine with raw dairy. Despite that, we do fine with pasteurized colostrum (I haven't found raw colostrum yet).

      Modern cows produce much more milk (including colostrum) than calves need. So the calf drinks first and what's left is turned into supplements.

      Dosing depends on several factors and your individual needs and ranges from a tablespoon to two teaspoons per day or even more.

    Not easy to find the first milk fresh on the market. The traditional way of preparing it is to bake it into a cheese form, which breaks down the enzymes.

      ​@@Rragestudios Goat milk appears to be easier to digest, but I think this statement is related to pasteurized milk (pasteurization alters proteins which can cause issues in some people). So it is possible that pasteurized goat milk colostrum is easier to digest but I never saw that in a product so far.

    I want my kids to start supplementing with colostrum during the winter but the colostrum doesn’t break up very well in liquids (it’s chunky) Any tips?

      I also find if you want to mix with liquids add a small amount of liquid first to form a paste then slowly add more, this drastically reduces it being chunky. Yogurt is a good option too.

      It's not but its chemical composition is relatively close. In other words, humans can benefits from many of the nutrients in bovine colostrum. Of course, nothing beats human colostrum but that's hard to come by :)
