Everyone shut up, it's pronounced both ways, where I'm from it's pronounced Carmel, some Pronounce it caramel like 4 hours away. So stop on the different ways it's said. If you actually had any common sense you'd realize people pronounce it different ways not just the way you do. Everyone spells it the same but I say Carmel. But it's spelled caramel. Just wanted to correct everyone there :) do some research.
Add a cup or however much of water and boil. For every cup of water you want to add 2 more cups of sugar. (You can add honey if you want and any type of sugar you want expect for powdered.) You want it to boil but occasionally put it on low so you won’t overdue because you do not want it to be sticky. 💛💛
Thanks! I made some before watching this video and I messed up the first batch for my flan.. I guess it burnt? Because it crystallized .. I tried adding more water but of course it was too watered down after that and I just had to start all over again
You guys are really painful!! Who cares how it's pronounced . That was a truly excellent video, simple, clear and to the point. Thank you Nicki. Mine turned out absolutely perfect!!!!!
Car a mel and carmel are both the same thing. I say carmel, but both are the correct grammar. Just like Tomato Tom Ato, potato, po ta to. The same things, just with an accent.
thanks for sharing this useful video I have a ques: heavy cream is kind of weeping cream isnt it? or there are a product call heavy cream? I couldnt find it in supermarket
if you constantly stir the melted sugar it doesnt allow the crystals to remain on the sides ... and before you pour it out brush the side with a touch of water and stir the whole time ... then you never have to pollute your caramel with a sour taste of lemon because the caramel is dealing with its own problems while you constantly stir .... and NEVER use PLASTIC of ANY sort ... wooden spoons are best metal can be used BUT can add a metalic taste to your caramel .... a flat wooden spoon flat side flat bottom NO hollow or curve ....
People come on. If people can spell color c-o-l-o-u-r, and you can shorten "I would" to I'd (which was originally the shortened version of I had), instead of the original I'ld, then people can pronounce caramel like carmel. There's no rules anymore.
Maybe you don´t know but if instead of using water, you just heat the sugar with 1 litter of milk , the vanilla essence and 1/2 spoon of baking soda, stirring with a spoon all the time 1 to 1 and 1/2 hour you will have the sweetest dress for your ice-cream or any cake. It´s call Milk Sweet or Dulce de Leche. Beats caramel any time... :)

Seriously who cares how you say caramel or pecan or whatever. Do you know what they are talking about? Enough said.
Carmel is not the same as carAmel. You probably say libary instead of libRary.
Enough said.
@@MrFunkadeIic Could you be more pacific?
I have to use milk cause I have no cream😳
I try to
Amazing, + you are beautiful xx
Carmehl,caramel,kearamle
thats a lot of sugar-
1 cup of water
Sad didn't work out.
Can I use lime juice?
Sure, because same fruit, different flavor
It's not Carmel it's carAmel
Again, there’s two ways you can say caramel.
No
I tried it burned
Honestly this was a big disappointment just in my opinion I am just saying
SAY CARE-A-MEL NOT CARMUL
She doesn't even know how to call it. It is CARAMEL
This recipe is awful do not try it
@@devinaaron5099 Maybe recipe is the wrong word but the way she described how to make it didn't really do it for me, Devon🙄
It's annoying that she keeps saying carmal instead of caramel.
The proper way to say it is Carmel not Caramel the a is silent.
Could she please learn how to say CarAmel ? I stopped watching after hearing her say " Carmel" 4 times, just couldn't stad it anymore, uuggh
It’s her accent
There are multiple ways to pronounce "Caramel". She doesn't need to 'learn' the correct way.
