  • The past is one weird and wacky place. In the age before smart-
phones, grandma and grandpa had to use their imaginations to have
fun, and they were doing some mindblowing stuff back then. We’ve got
the clips to prove it, so let’s head right into the bizarre olden times!

Thanks for posting your comment. I award automatic "thumb's down" to channels that do that, I don't watch the video through and I will block the channel from future recommendations if it happens again. It takes me a little while to check for comments such as yours and then write a thank you; but that is less time than I would have wasted to watch the full video only to end up pissed-off!

Baby bouncers were great. We had a very old one for our children. Your child sat in it far enough they couldn’t fall out. You hooked the top of it to a door way. Not only did the babies like it because it would move up and down as long as the baby kicked their feet on the floor. It also helped them strengthen their legs and I believe helped them walk earlier. It didn’t take long for them to learn that pushing down on their legs had them bobbing up and down.

As most people know by now, Ronald McDonald was not fully human, but rather had descended from an evolutionary bottleneck known as McDonaldopithecus Ronaldiensis, whose clown bones were found to have undergone reverse fossilisation, turning into wood instead of stone. The double-arch petroglyph was always found in close proximity to Ronaldiensis burial chambers, and archaeologists now believe that the clown garb was actually the ceremonial costume of the high priest, not necessarily that of all Ronaldiensis cohorts. Linguists have also confirmed that the word "restaurant" goes back to pre-proto-Amharic meaning Res (thing) Taur (of the bull, as in Taurus) Ant (before, prior to) which loosely translates to "where's the beef?"

    • @pheresy1367
      @pheresy1367 Месяц назад

But if you need a 5th wheel to park in "the tight space".... and the cars in front and back DON'T have a 5th wheel, they may get boxed in....
Even so, it's possible to wriggle out of only 1/2 inch clearance with enough "back and forth"... but that is with a modern suspension and power steering.
But STILL, I totally agree with you... Trying to parallel park on a busy street is nerve-wracking... It would be so much better to go "head in" first and then "5th-wheel" the back in after.

Not exactly accurate as stated, you made a mistake. The Network's switch over to Color TV didn't happen like that. Sure the Station may have switched over to color TV, but if your parents hadn't bought an actual (New on the market) "Color TV", you didn't see or notice the switch. A black & White TV showed only Black & White, despite what was being sent from the station. You had to be watching on an actual Color TV set to see it in color, if the station wasn't broadcasting in Color, the Color TV wouldn't display 'the programming', in color.

The USA was coming off the civil war so he came up with the Roman goddess Libertas meaning Liberty . He got the french government involved with the " your a free country so take the sick, poor, countryless and so forth. They would pay for everything except the foundation pedestal it would stand on. It`s still amaze me that will all the FACTS available via the internet, Henry Ford is still credited with inventing the assembly line in 1913 , Ford did not invent the assembly line. The first automobile maker to use assembly line technology was Ransom Olds and the Oldsmobile brand in 1901. "You can trace back rudimentary versions of assembly machines to the early 1100s. This was used by the Venetian Arsenal, which used the assembly machine to help create their boats. Ships we floated down a canal where workers would add to the construction as the ship passed. The techniques changed and improved through the 16th century. Historians states, that at the height of production, roughly 16,000 people were employed on one assembly line, and that they could create a boat in one day." Henry Ford invented nothing , just like Elon Musk .

Fords idea was, you only had to train each man on the line to do One job, instead of Every job, he was tighter than a Ducks arse, so each man only learned One job, training was down to One day as apposed to weeks, he also had the engines delivered in boxs that had holes cut in a certain way, when the box was empty, it would be taken apart & used for the floor of the car, & the peddels would fit where the Cut Outs were.
    Not daft was old Henry.

The baby cage I can get with that. As long as it's sturdy enough to hold the baby you might have to use smaller hose for the fence like maybe chicken wire. Nothing where they can slip anything out easy or get their hands stuck in it. I can go with the baby cage when the kid is up high like that. Long as it's safe and sturdy, I think that's a cool idea. Nothing can get into him and he can't get out

@susanbobo5098. It's just like any other phobia to be honest. Are you afraid of spiders, heights, snakes, the dark Etc.? People that aren't afraid of the things could ask you the same question . What are you afraid of ? Serious question, think about the things that Overly Scare and Frighten you then ask yourself Why do I feel like that way about it. Phobias can come down to a past traumatic experience or a built in mechanism from our ancestors.

Next time you see a clown in a public situation, observe the children around him (her). Some are kinda cowering away and some will burst out crying... Sometimes their peers will notice this and see it as a weakness, using it as a method to tease the poor kid. The fear remains throughout the victim's life. I've seen the same thing with kids and Santa Claus...Only repeated lies about the "good" that Santa does will erase their evolving fear...Clown victims never get that positive feedback about their nemesis.

The bouncy baby is actually called "jonny jumper" and i still have one that we used for our kids and now my grandkids! Its such a great thing! Lol. Instead of leaving the baby in a playpen, or sitting stationary in a walker, the baby is in a swing type thing that is awesome for when active babies need to burn energy, bcz they use their own legs to make them jump or swing, vs us pushing or bouncing them! One of my nephews was so hyper active, it was his favorite thing to be in bcz he felt independent and could play as long as he wanted! Poor little guy would get bloody toes from how aggressive he got in that thing! Lol. We made sure he had shoes on at all times when he was in it bcz there was no slowing him down. Lol. Todays kids dont really know what they, but i think its something more people should be using still! 👌

The assembly line shot made me laughter. I have a set of head lights, tail lights and brackets for sale right now. They are called Y Brackets. Brass from a 1929 model T, the kind they started making into hot rods in the 1950s. Originally the driver had to light the kerosene for the lights to shine. The hand blown glass is hinged for that purpose. Fluted glass that's has scrolling done by hand as well thatsays ford. They cost more today( $1500. For the set) than the whole car sold for brand new back in the day.

the reason the 5th wheel didn't catch on was because back then people actually knew how to drive and parallel park. they took it as an insult so it never got off the ground. they need to bring it back because these kids now couldn't drive if you strapped that wheel to their ass as their phone would get in the way.
