- In this movie you can witness the birth of a Lancia Thema 8.32 SW. This model was once made as a gift for Agnelli (director at Fiat group). He received a series 1 Lancia Thema 8.32 SW. I made the second car in the world. It's made from a second series Thema 8.32 and a first series Sw body.
The building of this car is described on www.weblogs.lanciathema.nl and this movie gives one a brief summery.
The building of the car took about 2,5 years. It's maiden trip was 1 day after the car passed it's MOT and went to Italy. In one week me and my friend Ewoud drove about 4000 kms in the car wihtout any significant problems. Now I'm contemplating an installation of an Alfa 166 gearbox with Torssen differential. Those Marangoni's were temproraly, in one of the last pictures one can see the Pirelli P6000 that were finally fitted to the car!

No. Questa è passione e tanta perizia. Seriamente dico che hanno fatto un grande lavoro. Fanno schifo i coatti semmai, quelli del "tuning", quelli che fanno aumentare il peso di una Punto fino a 1300 chili e passa a furia di modifiche estetiche raccapriccianti ed impianti vari ai limiti della follia.

Fantastic job but why not to try a two colors paint to give a little more dynamic at the shape of the car ?
In about 1985 TAK Motors in Johannesburg converted an 8.32 to Right hand drive. Possibly the only one. I don't know if it's still alive, unfortunately the garage owners have all passed away.
Non puo essere il 1985,la thema ferrari e' nata nel 1986,e per la conversione della guida a destra come hanno fatto con il cruscotto,il cruscotto e' per la guida a sinistra,hanno ricostruito il cruscotto?

I'm contemplating to paint the stripes of the 8.32 on the car. It's hard to find a specialist who can handpaint these stripes on a car.

a Young guy i germany had a BMW e30 323 with a rear crash he allways wanted a sw so he build a touring e30 when he went to his job at BMW they told him not to take this car home they want to put it in production he made his fortune

@@rusav81 il telaio piegato non c'entra,quella macchina se volevano si sistemava,piuttosto,il motivo per cui l'hanno presa non era per salvarla,ma per trapiantarla sulla SW

E perché scusa? Quella 8.32 aveva la scocca ormai fuori squadro per la botta che aveva preso (notare il parabrezza crepato), tanto vale riciclarla così. Del resto, Giovanni Agnelli si era fatto costruire una 8.32 in versione wagon, non vedo perché non possa farlo un comune mortale con i propri mezzi!
