One thing that would be nice is the grand staircace skylight to be illuminated but I haven't got my model yet to know if that's even possible in the design of the Lego and one thing I do like about this kit is each mast has a light which other kits do not but the kit is also far more expensive than some other kits
Hi Michael, great question! The 3 sections of the Titanic build are still tethered to each other via connecting cables in the timestamp shown. Absolutely it's possible to use one of our Remote Control & Sound kits with the Titanic! :)
Hey! Is the light kit easy to instal and to remove? I've got this model in our livingroom but it's definitely going back into the box in a few months (also so I can build it again, haha).
I have 11 lego sets and 4 are illuminated with other companies light kits so far. I've always prefered how your kits look, but i feel as though you're pricing yourself out the market. I understand the technical difficulties in making a light kit, especially this one, but lights shouldn't be nearly the same price as the model which i find almost all your kits I've looked at. Keep up the good work though.
I really want this but i am not technically adept at all. Im afraid of spending the money and getting frustrated with assembly. I'd rather pay someone to do it haha
How does each section stay powered when the model split apart I assumed there would be on USB power source but if you ship is in 3 pieces how does that work ?
Great question Glen. There is one long connecting cable running from each of the three sections to a central expansion board. The entire kit is powered using a single USB power cable that runs from the central Expansion Board. Hope that makes sense! 😄
Absolutely Blobba! By implementing our Dimmer Control Board as an addition to your light kit, you'll be able to further control the brightness of your lights. Follow this link to learn more about our DIY components! www.lightmybricks.com/products/dimmer-control-board
@@LightMyBricks thanks, and also are there lights on the lower deck windows around the black part of the ship? If not, would it be possible to? I think I've only seen another light kit have it.
I like a lot of what’s done here, but there is a lot of light leaks. A lot more than I’d expect from a kit that’s over $100 more than some of the other options out there.
Neat but way too minimal. I was waiting hoping light my bricks would have a nice kit. But after seeing it, it's no different. I'll be sticking with the other kit that lights up the portholes as well.
I wonder why you chose not to light any of the portholes in the hull. I like the look of the kit but to me it feels very incomplete without illuminated portholes.
if you're referring to our Spotlights, The LEGO Titanic is first and foremost a display set - so we've included those for anyone who wants to add some extra emphasis to their set up! Note that they are an optional feature however, include or remove them as you wish!
to the people complaining about the missing portholes in the funnels: the real titanic never had lights in the portholes. it was just added to the movie because it looked fancy.
What do mean funnel portholes , and the portholes never had lights ? if your referring to the portholes in the hull of course they had light there nothing but a window if a light is on light shines out. I'm a bit confused but exactly what you mean but as far a hull portholes there's a photo of Titanic I think off Cherbourg at night with her hull nearly fully illuminated from all the portholes
@Digby Dooright a porthole is a round sealable window designed if under water water will not go in it has nothing to do with smoke stacks or the funnels or chimney
Hey Sauron, for sure not all of our kits are for every budget (even the dark lord of Middle Earth), but keep in mind this one in particular is our biggest ever with 150 individual LEDs! Hence the higher price tag on it.
Would love to see detailed instruction video for the Titanic lighting kit.
Same, it’s quite shocking for the money spent.
Amazing you guys managed to pull off what most kits avoided or couldn't do by lighting up the deck windows below the promenade deck.

@@titan-tm7klit’s possible there is a small opening with grates
I’m building my Titanic while watching documentaries about the ship. Once I get done I’ll buy a light kit as this looks fantastic!
Good luck with your build! And thank you, we like how this kit turns out too 😁
I did the same thing while building the Titanic set!
just ordered the titanic and this light kit, im guessing ill be done next year :D
Haha! You'll be done quicker than it sank, so don't worry!
at 1:28 the Model show´s in 3 Parts, are the Lights now Wireless to each other or how is it? and is it possible to put an Remote Control to it?

Does it come with instructions on how to put it into the model?
This would be perfect, if only the portholes were lit up

why is this lighting set so much more expensive than other ones? is it truly better?

@@LightMyBricks thankyou the one thing I like about this kit compared to others is the mast lights
lights seem quite bright, are you able to make it dimmer?

I’d wait to see what Brickstuff comes up with. I have their Hogwarts light kit and it’s phenomenal!

The real titanic didn't have lights in there.
