this really be how it is. they just throw stuff at you and get mad when you don't know how to do stuff. it sucks when you last longer. there's still things I'm not sure how to do but because I've been there for months, everyone assumes I know what I'm doing.
Idk why i had to convince myself to stay longer in that kind of workplace but it wasn’t worth staying longer at all. It took a lot of my mental health. Also not worth the minimum wage.
When I used to work there they would only make me take orders and do the back window then when I was up front they’ed get mad if I did one or two things wrong so glad I don’t work there anymore

I work at McDonald's and you pretty much have to figure it out yourself. If you're lucky you may actually get a decent trainer but other than that it's like a quick overview then you're thrown to the sharks lol.
Bro I look up to this guy I wish I would have did this working at burger king 12 years ago I was 18 years old working morning shifts with my "BOSS" DRUNK and passed out in the office. All they while I was the only other worker in the restaurant. I have a vengeance from that time in my life I have to get over

Everyone who came to work, would be told "Thank You for being here" when super busy id hop on a line. The better you treat others, the more quantity of an employee they'll be. They'll WANT to work hard. I was a shift leader in a large grocery store. My pay was outstanding. The associates under me always happy. Its simple "treat others the way you wannt to be treated." As you watch yoyr business improve. I went back during the pandemic because my regular job was closed. Want success? Theres a part of it. Increase pay, happy, well trained workers cost less overall. Free advice.
I worked at a McD’s not long ago, they reduced my hours from 20 hours a week to only less than 8 for the whole week. Paycheck was tiny because of that. They didn’t give me any notice before reducing my hours like that, so I walked out and quit without notice.
I quit on the spot today. Management sucked where I worked at. Would only dictate others around and not listen to anyone's problems. and that for a sad minimum wage.
Worked Wendy’s one day they left me alone in the drive thru with minimal training. Customers nasty, horns going change thrown at me. Gave my last customer a bunch of change didn’t count didn’t care if they got their food I walked right out. Never worked fast food again.
Oftentimes, some locations simply have lazy coworkers who will not do their assigned tasks because they feel some form of entitlement because of their time in the company, especially trainers.
This is the result of lowering the standards for employees. The lowering has to continue until whatever the business is just completely fails because of a lack of competent management and then employees. You see the same things happening at other once well-run operations like the USPS. Now it is even happening in fast-food restaurants.
Every fast food resto I've worked for has sacked me after 6 mos. All I like about fast food, unlike every bar, resto and pub I've ever worked in in Canada is that they have zero tolerance for tobacco smoke! Probably only due to the myth that these jobs are only for teenagers and they must be protected.
The McDonald's leaders do not know how to respect their workers thats why they quit. I've worked at McDonald's as my first job for a week was treated like shit by my managers even from the first day. Not sure why they're like that.
Been in the store for 4 days and I am as blank as a desert. They do not provide any training at all. Just did a weird orientation where in the person just bombarded me with information and the next moment I do it and the manager said I did it wrong. I mean 5 min back the person did it in front of me ?? Boss, how dumb can the manager be like? Next they assign me to a person to work with and I ask what I need to do and they say its been four days now you should know what you are doing!!! I was shocked at that reply. I mean I wasn't asking for assistance I was offering one duh!!!

Try learning English, the training might go better.
