Just getting to this video. Wow! Doesnt get much better then this. You truley amaze me when combining colors and laying them out. Been tying for over 20 years and wish I had your gift as far as laying colors out and getting them to look right. You do a great job JF. If i had musky and pike in my waters I would definatley buy your baits. I dont have the componenets to tie big baits like you do. About the only big baits I tie are 1.5 to 2 ounce huge preacher jigs for bass fishing deep hunps and ledges. Problem with big baits is they eat high volumes of materials that sometimes can be expensive. In my career of jig design and tying, I cant believe how expensive the materials have got. Luckily for me, I have an abundance of buck tails from friends who hunt. Dieing them is a little pain but it saves a tremendous amount of money. Great job JF. Another one that is perfect.

Thank you! Yeah it crazy how easy it is to build a 200$ cart on some of these websites. Ive just tried to accumulate some stuff over time so i have some flexibility is choosing colors and patterns. one of the main reasons i havent really gotten into dry flies is because a single nice cape can be hundreds of dollars! Appreciate the kind words and support!

That's a great marabou tie too! Nice to see the build contrast of palmering vs direct tie in. You likely know but peacock herl makes a nice lateral line with a little sparkle, if not true "flash". It'd be a sharper, straighter line than the marabou which depends on the look one wants. Thanks again for sharing.

Turned out really nice! I have some 6th Sense jig heads that I've wanted to tie on but I don't have it in me to cut off the screw lock lol

lol yeah i know what you mean. I bought some battle baits the other day and they dont have many options without skirts and it felt like a sin to cut the hand tied skirts off.

@@juniorsfishingcompany I’ve resorted to tying on the Megabass Okashira jig heads. Those jig heads look great and I don’t feel bad removing those hook keepers ‘cause they’re not as good 🤷🏻‍♂️

You can definitely see that dark line down the middle of the body. Looks to be fat. I hope it keeps that bulk in the body when it is wet. Great jig. Be blessed. My friend.

I fly fish a little. Some dry fly fishing for spring panfish and some streamer fishing with my 8wt but mainly do spinning and bait casting!
