I went here not to long ago, i live 7 minutes from this place. I grew up in Alvin and we used to be able to go off roading anywhere. Now everything is blocked and fenced, use to go to chocolate bayou off 35 until they built that subdivision and closed it off to the public along the bayou. Said it was the neighborhoods private property or some crap lile that.
@6.2LSCREW you have to enter from Pearland Park Way now, you jump the crub, then cross under the bridge. Its okay, its so closed off now you have maybe 1/2 mile, and that's it, and a few cuts threw the trees. You have to be careful, because if the cops catch you they will ticket you, seen them catch a few people before.
@6.2LSCREW yep, i feel you. Can't go anywhere anymore. The closest off-road parks are creekside and extreme. But they are okay at best. Fun for a few hours, then you're pretty much ready to go. Creekside is only 20 to enter, so it isn't so bad, but still sucks. We actually just went to Hidden Falls this last weekend in Marble Falls. Its a 4 hour drive from Houston. I just posted some videos on it. If you have never been its a lot of fun.
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells i have a 2013 raptor and a couple of fourwheelers, i wish there were places closer to go riding and explore the wilderness in my truck. sam houston is okay too but its all dirt roads and only a few ohv trails. i would like to make a trip to hidden falls soon.
Really cool video! Sad that they are taking trails away all over the country though. Its happening everywhere and it sucks to see our fun spots go away!
Come to Colorado, there’s good wheeling all over here! I’ll show you some good spots if you do. The drive isn’t too bad either, I was doing it a lot when my niece was sick... upgrade those hood latches though (one of mine blew off between Lubbock and Dalhart)
Yes, agreed. I never dreamed I would have problems finding places to wheel until I actually got a jeep. A lot of the places I find are probably owned, just not marked or fenced so I take the chance. Makes me really appreciate 4x4 trails in other states!
Dumb question, but can you actually get in “trouble” for doing stuff like this? I’m outside of Houston and I wish there were more public trails around here
@@Sasshley Hard to say. Technically it's private land, so yes. But in practice it's used by atv's, bike, dirt bikes, and 4x4's, so it would be odd, to say the least, if someone picked on anyone in particular for going down that trail. Best advice is, don't leave trash, don't stay long, and don't cut a cop off in traffic to swerve off the road onto the trail! Be nice to everyone jogging or walking so they have no reason to call and force the issue.

@@JeepTrailsandBarbells thats stupid. I used to go for miles out here. Theres nothing to do near clear lake any more. Im tired of this area.

Sounds good, we're planning to spend a week in Colorado next summer. I'll give you a shout!
i hear this a lot about Texas, that there really are not that many places to run. that is amazing and sad at the same time, for a state so large.

@@JeepRoad yessir, makes me appreciate what i got for sure too.
If you start from the back end of the trail. You won't be bothered just watch for the cops when you leave. Went today.
