- Made for less than the monthly rent of the apartment it was filmed in, this unusual lo-fi comedy is a tribute to youthful naivety and skyscraper-sized expectations. Arriving in New York, recent college grad Lisa moves in with an eccentric couple and soon becomes entangled in their strange and crumbling relationship. Featuring a cast of Brooklyn's brightest up-and-comers, this DIY debut is a loving throwback to 2000s indies and no-wave NYC cinema while satirizing "the city is a character" movies.

I saw this last night at the St. Louis premiere. Fantastic film that you can tell was made by people who are in love with cinema.
This movie it’s incredible, I’m not gonna lie this give me chills and transport me back then when we’ll… no spoilers I’m genuinely proud and to the director thank you so much for being a kind and responsable answering questions. Not all the directors do that! 9/10 film !

@@marshallandroxy I think they wanted a vintage look. Which I understand. But the plot looks pretty weak. New girl ro the big city. I mean, I get you have to start with something. This has to be a young director. And if he/she went a film school, then I feel bad. Just garbage writing. I know I shouldn't judge by a trailer... but I am lol.
I think, maybe, just maybe, it's called an "aesthetic choice"
