It is not a ridiculous comparison at all. Actually rather astute and very complimentary. There are differences for sure. But Walsh is displaying characteristics within his gameplay that is reminiscent of both billy Slater and Darren Lockyer. He has the potential to be better than both.

Slater commenced playing for the Melbourne Storm in 2003. In Round 1 of the 2003 NRL season, Slater made his first grade NRL debut for the Melbourne Storm against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Remondis Stadium.
