Doing cocaine isn’t a mistake lmao, it’s a conscious decision. The fact that drugs are so normalised within the NRL culture is the problem. If he wasn’t a star player his contract would’ve been torn up. He’s an adult and a father, so if he really cared about his family and his future he wouldn’t be making horrible decisions like this. It’d be different If he just got a lil too drunk on a night out with the boys, but it’s cocaine ffs 😂 The NRL needs to stop protecting their star players and start making an example out of them for what happens when you violate your contract by doing hard drugs.

It was a dumb decision, and certain dumb decisions should result in losing your job, doesn’t matter how much you apologise. We need to give RTS huge wraps for being the selfless individual he is and nurturing Reece into a gun full back. It's not every day you see the million dollar club captain and full back give his position up with so much modesty to the future generation of the club! I don't mean to put the Broncos down but I don't think their the starting fullbacks could have taught him much.
