Hi, this is a separate question. Permanent retainer just broke causing a tiny gap between central and lateral incisor. This is due to lateral incisor moving slightly to the right. To try and close the small gap can this be done with wearing Essix or hawley retainer all day? Or does it have to be spring hawley retainer. It would be a new retainer made. Thanks
It depends on how much overjet you have and if the essix retainer was made off your OLD bite or the new one.
