I am always surprised that a lot more C70 chargers didn't show up in the rebel fleet. With a fast hyper drive and well armed, a bit of modding would have made these perfect for the rebels. I would probably swap out the saloon pod for maybe a torpedo launcher. A fast attack group of these ships could easily pop out of hyperspace, fire a salvo of ion torpedoes and blasts from their ion cannons and then wolf pack the disabled capital ship with their light turbo lasers and maybe another round of standard torpedos.
I always wonder how more powerful the rebel alliance would be if they suddenly acquired blue prints of mobile suits( from the Gundam series, of course). They would probably have more than a coherent fleet with ships, star fighters being the strike force and air support, while the mobile suits being the main strike force for helping the ground force, as well as shock team to attack ship yard, capital ship, etc.
The battle of atollon really does show you how much of a loss those ships were since in the show we see Phoenix cell slowly collect these ships over the seasons than compared to the battle of scarif since they just appeared out of no where and we don’t realize how much they lost during the retreat

The Alliance didn’t have a real Army until the New Republic. Rebel ground forces were mostly made up of Sector Forces, which operated in their own systems.
I can give you a few hypothetical reasons. The transport ship might create a stealth field in hyperspace to hide the fleet during transport such that other ships couldn't warn the Empire & more importantly drones couldn't warn the empire before an attack. It could make hyperspace communication unattainable & be used to block targeting sensors for ty fighters or even help targeting sensors for Xwings. So, why not have battleships do these functions? Perhaps those sensors either interfere with ships functions, like the targeting systems of the battle ship. Or perhaps refueling in hyperspace before a battle could ve accomplished by these ships immediately before entering a battle, thus increasing the potential radius of where the ships next destination. This could cause the empire to be unable to cover all locations to search for the rebel regrouping after battle. Making empire counterattack less possible due to too many potential secondary sites. I could go on, but it's pointless. There are innumerable possibilities.
Some people say the battle of Scarif was the RA entire fleet but where were the other MC80s. They had dozens of cr90s but showed what 8 in Rogue One. They had more ships but kept them separate after learning from past defeats. Raddus fleet was all they had at Yavin but more were fighting elsewhere.

You know. I always have thought that Mr. Lucas based the empire on the Nazi regime. But when you look at the new movies the First Order resemble the Third Reich even more (they have to evade laws passed by the new republic government to obtain weapons, just like the early Nazi regime). Even though it’s just a fictional story I like to draw realistic ideas for this show.
supposedly the E-wing was in return of the Jedi, but it is most likely one of those broken models that was used as a background fighter, and was never actually meant to be in the movie. the E-wing also bears an extreme similarity to Jek-14's stealth fighter....not sure how accurate this is though...
So, Darth Vader’s TIE advanced destroyer a frigate... do shields mean nothing in Star Wars anymore? I can understand missiles and torpedos being able to damage frigates and larger ships but how can the laser cannons of a star fighter get through shields so easily? What’s the point if capital ships it a fighter can cut them down so easily

I would love a game where you were a person on a planet and you half to start a rebel cell and stuff it would be so cool. Now i just have to get rich and fund the game lol
well if you get it in the works and it looks good i would fund it and i know about another 5 that would aswell as long as it was coop
How many ships did the Yuuzhan Vong have during their invasion of the galaxy?
Did they have tens of thousands of ships?
counting coral skippers, low hundreds of thousands probably. many dozens of thousands of capital ships.
@@aethertech
Well that sounds pretty reasonable as a number since they did capture alot of territory and they almost won the war.
They had very few world ships. In the dozen. And a whole lot of coral skippers in the hundred of thousands. The rest in between is a bit unknown.
Xwings are so cool
Nice 1 !!!!!
Can you please do a full breakdown of boba fetts armor
For the Rebel ALLIANCE!
oh wow I didn't know mon calamari cruisers were buildings before lol
supposedly the E-wing was in return of the Jedi, but it is most likely one of those broken models that was used as a background fighter, and was never actually meant to be in the movie. the E-wing also bears an extreme similarity to Jek-14's stealth fighter....not sure how accurate this is though...
They should add more rebel ships from Legends to canon!
RW:@6:59 Hey!😮 isnt that Dash Rendarr's ship from Star Wars Shadows of the Empire? Ive almost mistaken it for the Millennium Falcon for a second there.😅
Same basic design.
am i correct in assuming that the quasarfire-class carrier was one of the largest ships the early rebel alliance had at the time
"Echo base five seven we're on our way."
if Ezra did not sacrifice himself the rebel alliance could have acquired some fucking Purgil in their fleet
Bruh Rex was like here take some ships
Interesting how Kuat Drive Yard was faithful to the Empire
I hate that there's a lack of former CIS ships in the rebel fleet, you can see them at least in the early stage of civil war in Legends.
And in canon, it seems like they want to get rid of anything separatists...
During the space battle of the Yavin 4 Red squadron and gold squadron pilot died doing the trench run on the Death Star Luke skywalker, Wedge Antilles and one gold squadron pilot survived The trench run of the destruction of the Death Star
The Kimara was a ISD-1 not a super star destroyer
What song do u use for this RUclips video I want it
1. So what happened to that b wing with the super laser?
2. If something called a airspeed it can't fly in space right?
i like this explanation.....
do a video about the rebel ground forces build up
You missed the Corvus.
now the comments want the legends build up! but I wanna know about the resistance build up in canon
