Doing gods work my friend
Amazing footage! Thank you
Queen is one of the greatest band in the universe. No one can replace Freddie Mercury....no one.
Best ever.
Agreed
I was lucky enough to grow up in their time. A Queen weekend was always so much fun. I twice caught flowers (Freddie used to throw out carnations to the audience) and once caught the drum sticks. Still have them.
Richard Mangan Lucky one 😭
Beautiful and heartbreaking .... miss you Freddie. What a beautiful soul. One of a kind
I've seen them live twice. I've been to hundreds of concerts. NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE can ever touch Freddy Mercury's stage presence.
I've never seen them live. But I know for sure Freddie is unique and irreplaceable.
Lucky you are.
@@Harcievalena He was electrifying in real life. I saw them open for a group years ago in a 3,000 seat theater. I'm sure the group after them never felt going on after their riveting performance. Then a few years later, they were the main attraction in the same theater. Omg....I just shuddered, thinking about it. Freddy Mercury was light-years ahead of anyone else. I just watched a fantastic documentary about their Live Aid performance on RUclips. It broke down their performance and described what was happening. You would have even more respect for him and the band.
Lucky you!
Freddie is the greatest performer I have ever seen in my life. There WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER FREDDIE MERCURY. NEVER❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I can’t get enough watching Freddie. He’s so gorgeous and everything he does and every move he makes is phenomenal. He’s just perfection. Freddie is a unique genius. There aren’t many but he is definitely one. His extraordinary voice blows my mind. No one to this very day comes close to Freddie Mercury!!!❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Queen’s music all still sounds like they know something everyone else doesn’t. It’s pure magic! And Freddie… The Greatest
excellent way to put it
Freddie Mercury's house looks exactly like your grandma's if she was a multi-platinum recording artist
I AM NOT IN QUARANTINE I AM IN QUEENANTINE ❤👑❤
great text ;) queenatine :D I want that illnes to my death ;)
lol
So true😁☺🥰👍QUEENANTINE🤗🤗MISS FREDDIE 😥🥺😭☹
Oh so sick I have that sweet disease too Queenatine❤❤❤👑👑👑👑😂lol🎉
This many years after this tour back in the 70's queen is even more popular now.we will never be honored to experience another band with as much staying power as queen again.
I was one of these kids - only I was in Seattle. My best friend, Scott Tate, and I were absolutely Queen freaks (and Zeppelin and the Who, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Jeff Beck Group, etc...) I could go on forever. When Freddie cut his hair and grew the mustache and the black leather... we knew exactly what he was saying about himself and we loved it. I was more freaked out when John cut his hair and put down the wooden Fender Precision and picked up the Music Man's. I saw Queen in the Seattle Center Coliseum in 1980 and met Brian May after the show. That was life changing. I was fourteen.
Wow! That must have been so wonderful!
Beer and coffee on the mixing desk, cigarette smoke everywhere..definitely the 70s..
Steve Dickson old good times
Yep, and real musicians who made they're own good music
Yaaaay
Loved the 70’s best years of my life.
True. I was in the studio in the 80's. Drinks and cigarettes were NOT allowed...but that was in America so maybe that makes a difference too.
Freddie was very articulate❤️
This is just the moment when you realize that Queen/Freddie are bottomless. When you think you have seen and listened to everything , you find something like this. And it's so wonderful! There are three things you can watch forever: fire, water and Queen/Freddie..
I totally agree with you, dear Elena!!! Love your trilogy
Nice to see you here!!!
Big kisses dear friend!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@MargotRecabarren I miss you, Margot..
I miss you tooo...!!! 😢
I have been a lot of work lately..!!! Here in Chile 🇨🇱 is time to change to the first semestre to second semestre.. and the academic work is increasing a lot. So, I have a lot of work between June and July... I hope to have a week to rest between semesters.
Big hug my dear Elena..,, take care of yourself and your loves ones!!! 🌸👍🏻✅🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
omg i agree, i thought id seen everything
Elena, I love, love, LOVE your comment comparing watching fire and water to watching Queen/Freddie - they are both eternally fascinating and entertaining, forever nourishing for the soul and spirit...like you said, "so wonderful!"
Queen was the perfect mix of personalities, all different yet complementary to each other. The whole was greater than the sum of its parts, if you will. I heard Brian once say that it was just the perfect creative environment when the four of them got together. What a wonderful film. And look at them, Barely more than kids. Roger will always be a kid at heart, John, quiet but a man of powerfully deep feeling and talent. Brian, simply magnificent on guitar, and Freddie, the legend. Wonderful just wonderful. Oh well, its late. But not to late! 🤗untill next time my beauties.
I love this
@@LillyRose924 Lillys are beautiful.🌷🌺
@@MKULTRA1701 🤗🤗🤗🤗 hugs
My Favorite Band of all time.
Freddie you will forever be in my heart. You are irreplaceable!
John : "We were handled badly....Well, no, we weren't handled badly..."
Freddie: "We WERE handled badly!" 😂😂😂
I like how the updated and restored footage would mix with the original raw and untouched footage. When you start to get comfortable watching the touched-up version, you're harshly reminded of how long ago that was.
John Deacon: "I don't think I could write a heavier song, you know? It's not in me."
Another One Bites The Dust: "Am I a joke to you?"
He might have proved himself wrong a few years later that day.
I think "Heavy" means a Hard rock thing. Another one bites the dust isn't heavy.
@@danielfelipe1606 Probably, but John wasn't exactly known for "heavy" even in Queen's context. This is the guy that wrote Misfire, You're My Best Friend, Who Needs You, etc. Another One Bites The Dust is exceedingly heavy compared to those.
I was so lucky to see Queen 6 times and at Live Aid. The 1970's were the best times though. I saw them in 1977 and 1978 (and met them in 1978 too). The stuff dreams are made of. Queen Reign Supreme xx)
Woah!!! Where did you see them?
@@lilack836 Stafford, Manchester , London
you're so lucky!!!
Lucky you!!! How amazing you got to see them so often!!!❤️💛
Lucky!! That's awesome ❤️❤️
This last Saturday of 2023 I've once again enjoyed this Queen Special. Never commented . . . it's been neat relaxing and indulging in Queens magnificent truth at that time, especially having enjoyed what was to be their future contribution to us. Love certainly exists for Queen. Legendary Queen.
Incredible, QUEEN with only 4 members, they recorded like a complete philharmonic with the technology of the 70s, they achieved songs and sounds that still surprise and fascinate us , what a great genius and conductor of orchestra is FREDDIE,this material is a gem, thanks for posting it ¡
I always believe that too
Queen is my favorite band. They are one of the greatest bands of all time. Their performances at Live Aid on July 13, 1985, is the greatest live performance ever given by a rock band. Freddie Mercury is the greatest rock frontman of all time. It's hard to believe that on November 24, 2021, Freddie Mercury will be dead 30 years. Rest In Peace Freddie Mercury and you will never be forgotten!!!!!!
Absolutely loved the interview with Freddie at the end of the video! How real and humble he was, but still taking credit for his accomplishments. I could watch him talk all day. Such a brilliant, positive, and interesting person! 💜
Man…Freddy was such a force of nature. A real musical genius, and a true entertainer of the highest order. Think of Brian also being a physics major and an astronomer for awhile, or John Deacon being an electronics wiz before joining the band. I mean, seriously. It takes very smart people to be able to create such magical music. It’s really too bad that musicians like this are basically forced to stay in the underground now, because the music industry is too busy funding and hyping talentless, anti-intellectual porn stars. So strange how society could let that happen.
Freddie is the most perfectionist among the four members!!!
The legend will live forever God bless you Freddie
1:13:31 OMG JOHN THIS WAS POWERFUL
Wow, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FILM ABOUT QUEEN. THE ONLY FILM. Not the monstrosity full of lies that gave an Academy award to an actor who in retrospect has no clue about Freddy Mercury. The movie just concentrates on the fact that he was involved with Mary and that he's gay and live aid. If that's all you know about Queen you're really missing out. This is brilliant revealing and how lovely to see them just sitting and talking like intelligent young men with great ambition and talent. They are all wonderful. Saw them twice at Madison Square Garden and they just blew everybody's minds. Completely amazing shows. Just like Lennon and Bowie, this band left a tremendous void when Freddy passed. Thanks guys made my teenage years fantastic.
It's Freddie, and the movie was amazing.
Wow so lucky! Do you have any memorabilia from when you saw Bowie or Queen? Cheers!
I’m a big Queen fan and can honestly say I’ve never seen this. I was a bit too young when it first came out.
This is Queen history gold. ❤️
I was privileged to have seen them live 6 times from 1979-86 including their last ever show at Knebworth Park, and again at Freddie's tribute in 92. No one can come close to the band as a live act in their pomp. Crazy Tour 1979 at the NEC in Birmingham was my first ever live music experience, and I think it's still the loudest I've ever heard (and I'v seen Motörhead too!!)
My first live show was Queen in 79 as well. incredible experience. I have a really decent quality recording of that show It's such a trip listening to it. It;s the next best thing to time travel! 😁❤
Probably the best , real, behind the scenes film we'll ever see on Queen , totally absorbing and so well handled by Bob the legend
Nikdo neni a nebude lepsi nez Freddie a Gueen miluji vas vsechny byli jste uzasni skveli a nenahraditelni a krasni i ted ve stari forever ❤
Pure sheer talents without the aid of technology. 4 great ideas put together.

John: Is Freddie here or no?
Brian: No.
John: *Typical.*
John: typical🙄
Are there all-colour-video of this walking footage?
45:01 epic crossover!!!😱
Roger's Drums meets Freddie
Red Special meets Roger
Red Special meets Freddie
😂😂😂
Can't believe Brian let them mess with his guitar
I have seen them twice live 79 and 81 they are the masters of rock ! No one not the Beatles Zep Stones come within a mile of Freddie and Queen ! Never will there be a band like them again.

Thank you. It's great that we filmed such moments on video. Freddie is just unattainably attractive. Her manners of speech and movements are royal.
Jedinecny hlas a jedinecna hudba. Nikdy ho neprestanu milovat i vsechny z queen.❤😂😂❤
Wonderful documentary
I love the studio part… being able to witness how they worked in the studio..both the playing and the mixing…it s priceless
Wow! This is very rare footage! So much of it unseen before
I .miss Freddie with Queen so much..
So glad I have all their albums!
Nice. I remember us American, Canadian kids in the basement dens in the 70's with the stereo system cranked. and the wood paneling, and the the joints being passed around . Listening to Queen and all the rest of the groups back then. Hard to replicate nowadays.
Omg adoro a Queen.... Freddie eres lo mas maravilloso del universo. Te amooooooooo
We need all of the albums like this! I love this!
So happy to see them so young and healthy. 4 genius. QUEEN and Freddie are legends and legends never die. 👍👍👍😽😽😽❣Friendly from France
It's lovely to see and listen to John speak but Queens music best in the world freddie so brilliant with everything
Finally all the bits and bobs of clips all over the internet in the real film, along with those extras. This is the bomb! Thank you so much for this extravaganza.
GRACIAS 👍
Pues en esas estamos todos los hispanos 🇪🇸
Amazing documentary, you feel like you’re there with the band. Behind the scenes, fantastic a must for all Queen fans. Thank you for posting.
Wow!! This is just the best presentation of Queen's early years ever! It is so interesting to see them as they were on tour, each a unique talent but also a combined force of nature rock ensemble. Freddie, in particular, displays both a sweet vulnerability and the self-confidence of a rising rock god. I love the scenes of the band members dressing for shows together, like the four good friends they were.
They were more like brothers
FREDDIE ENJOYED AND HAD BOYFRIENDS
AND THAT'S OK!! 👬👬HE'S THE BESTEST!😊👴
Did you see em live?
@@gretelkulupka8704 I responded earlier to your question but I guess I forgot to hit "reply," lol. Unfortunately, I never saw a live performance when Freddie was still alive. I did, however, attend the concert "Queen + Adam Lambert: The Rhapsody Tour" in July, 2019 when they were in Dallas, Texas. It was AWESOME to see Brian May and Roger Taylor perform - an unforgettable experience! Have you seen them live?
@@janascoville204 No sadly.. born 2 late..
I saw them at the age of 7.....the summer of 1979 for the now famous Live Killers Tour....with the large Tungsten panel of lights... I was in the fourth row in front of Brian...thanks to my older sister and her then BF......at that time they were the hottest act in the business.....and personally that tour was Queen at thier very best.....the impression it made on me as a little boy.....will last a lifetime...
Where have I been? First time seeing this in it's entirety. Fantastic!
46:41 I love it!
Thank you❤
I'm an extremely hardcore Queen fan. There's nothing I haven't h... *snippet of Sleeping On The Sidewalk with Fred singing comes on* I give up.
same lmao
And singing the lyrics from the album sleeve!! Precious
Hahaha, now I know that I am not the only nut who watches any new or old or any snippet of music about QUEEN😎
Ooo oo oo have you found the video of when Freddie throws Rogers maracas??
ruclips.net/video/6DB_i8HAeio/видео.html Here is a full performance of that song...awesome stuff
Saw em in Mexico 1982
That's cool, do you have any lasting memories of the show? Which show did you attend, Puebla or Monterrey?
Thank you...just great. I loved it....anything that has to do with Queen is great. Love Beautiful Freddie. 💖💖💖💝💝💝

You know, that's a good idea ;)

Greatest band in the Universe!
Back then they were a worldwide top 5 rock band, along with Zeppelin, Floyd, stones and eagles. Today queen is bigger tan all of them

It hurts my heart when I hear that the States turned against Queen..I can tell you of one American woman who will never turn on them..and she is me, Sandi Page...❤😎
Me too
Same here. And as a 90s kid, I had no idea they'd ever been unpopular here.
Me here forever and ever, Freddie and John so handsome at this time , but they always were 😢👹😢👹😢❤️😢❤️😢💕💕💕💋💋💋🥂
This American born in Canada has always loved Queen.
how has this been on YT 3 years and i've just now found it? well in any case, what a treat, thank you!!!
My day is not complete without listening there music specifically when I'm on my bed at night I've watched there live concert videos😊😊🇵🇭
ok
me, too! every night👍
1 real big reason Queen are so #1 continuing to now are all the vids of these guys even in the 70's...of coarse it's their music and live shows and all 4 #1 hit songwriters a musical jaurgernaut world-wide-they worked their asses off tour after tour..I imagine just how much more bigger they'd be if Fred was still with us...unreal .
Just think, watching Freddie record the vocal for "We are the champions" is about as equal as watching Beethoven track the 5th. Too bad we don't have an audio/visual of that. Man, Queen were everything in these days. I saw so many shows at the Omni Atlanta, with the last being Kiss in 1996. It was blown up and torn down not long after that. Good times.
Incredible! Do you have any memorabilia from seeing Queen live - tape recording, photos, etc?
I saw that News of the World tour November 1977 at the Richfield Colesium that was the First of three times i saw them WOW weeee ❤❤❤❤
first album I purchased as a young fellow over some 43 odd years ago, and still my favorite it's quite something to see how the music still resonates today
Relaxing company with Freddie...
ah, so nice! ☺
