I check out alot of YT DIY videos before doing a project just to make sure I dont forget something or to learn a few tricks and tips and I must say you do one heck of a good job on your videos.
Your instructive style and camera shots are spot on man. No joke. A+
Thanx..I'm going to go fix my swamp cooler now..I think it could be my switch is not working to supply voltage to my pump. The pump is new and it tested good when plugged into an outlet.. so next I'll be checking the switch for continuity in the various positions with my meter. ✅

I would put the motor back on first before placing the media and cover back on. Just an observation of something I would do as well. LOL I am having a time with mine older model MasterCool. Replaced 2 speed motor, thermo switch and getting ready to re-wire and replace with new control unit. Hope "my plan comes together" :)

Do I need to turn on the "pump only" function before I turn it to high or low cool? Thanks

I like your video. but I feel like you may have forgotten to mention TWO things:
#1. was at @24:30 you didn't show how to adjust the water level in the tank because the water valve isn't perfectly set to any water tank it might be installed in...
#2. I did not see where you checked for the Amp Draw on the motor, nor how to adjust the adjustable pulley for the correct fan speed and Amp Draw. I need to see that as I don't think mine is set right after I changed out the fan motor last year.
Otherwise a good video to have to remind oneself of how to perform annual checks and maintenance.

Awesome video! Inspired me to work on my swamp cooler. Where exactly did you oil your fan though? Maybe you showed it and I just missed it.
