After seeing the new Rebirth reveal- I’m more concerned that there are two Clouds in one timeline. Unless… the Cloud that has his head slumped in the background isn’t Cloud. Marlene says, “When she wakes up, the scary man is gonna kill her”. Marlene was scared of Cloud when she met him? Could be a red flag there? Jenova is a shapeshifter, after all. (Spoiler for Remake) In Remake, the first clone you see is in Sector 7, #49 Bruno, that was right next door to Cloud’s room. I found it very strange that Tifa is protecting a clone- one she’s reluctant to tell Cloud about. The second clone, #2, comes stumbling out of the kids hideout in Sector 5. The third clone, #49 Bruno, kills Barett after defeating Jenova Dreamweaver. Sephiroth floats up carrying #49, then turns into #2 clone. When they drop in front of Cloud, it looks (to me) that one of the clones is Cloud. There has been speculation that Tifa has been dead since Nibelheim Reactor event and that Tifa is Jenova. The confirmation that Avalanche members have been killed on the flyer was from that same speculation I read about that tied these two rumors. In the trailer- Tifa says, “Cloud, it’s okay, you’ve saved me before- NOW IT’S MY TURN.” with a warped voice. Cloud never saved Tifa, it was Zangan, so that makes no sense as to why she would say that. Genesis did have a single black wing so it could be him leaving traces of black feathers behind?? I think Loveless is part of the performance. (I’m sure he’s in the audience.) When I thought they’re not going to kill anyone in Rebirth (Reincarnation), my reaction was, ‘how very Disney’… But seeing as Aerith has been in the Lifestream for 26 years, I’m curious as to what would happen if she survives. I honestly think she will live since the game is a remake. She does open her eyes at the end of FF7OG after all. If she doesn’t, it will break me. I have been a fan of Cloud and Aerith since 1997 playing OG, obsessed in my early 20’s. I have read all of Nojima’s books, AC, own a ton of SE/Kai merch, like a true geek. I had this assumption that everyone else was a Cloud and Aerith fan too until I discovered the brutal ship wars not long ago. I perceive FF7 as a tragic love story. I’m stepping on battlegrounds here but, to me, Cloud and Aerith’s chemistry is off-the-charts when they first meet. In the game, NPC’s repeatedly refer to them as a “Couple” and “Lovebirds”. Cloud and Tifa have known each other for a decade and when they reunite, they are awkward IMO. So maybe, Zack does sacrifice himself to save the world? Aerith can be with Cloud- the real Cloud. Zack always wanted to be a hero… Leave me a nasty comment below 🤣
I would like different finals, different possibilities. Aerith lives? Aerith dies? Anyone else dies? Sephiroth is not the final boss? Don't get the name "Rebirth" if the result is really the same without options.

I have a fairly nagging suspicion that Genesis will be back and important in Zack's story. Not just as a boss. Could be wrong though. The trio, Sephiroth, Angeal and Genesis, if you look at their colour-coding with their wings etc... Sephiroth is represented almost like the black mage, Angeal the white mage, and Genesis is the red mage. Red Mages in FF are always a kind of mix of the white and the black, and I think Genesis is the same. He is like half monstrous, but half redeemed. I said I thought Sephiroth might get a white wing in Rebirth, but perhaps it will not be Sephiroth, but Genesis who gets a white wing, since he is the "red mage" who can embody both light and dark. In Crisis Core he is fallen, like Sephiroth, but unlike Sephiroth he finds redemption at the end. If you look at the names of the 3 characters... Sephiroth means eternal. Which is what he's all about, he refuses to die. Angeal means angel, a passed away benevolent spirit. And Genesis of course means creation. If you recall the Edge of Creation (a synonym of genesis) where Cloud and Sephiroth have their showdown, the world being born is represented by a red nebula, which is Genesis' colour. Rebirth in the logo, is written in Red. Genesis has a red coat and sword for a reason. Those colours mean something. Whether we will literally see Genesis as a character back in the story, I don't know, but the themes that he represents in his character, and his symbolism, are definitely very much hinted at in the end of FF7 Remake... I could perhaps see Genesis maybe explaining what is going on (why there is a rip in the sky) to Zack (and maybe Sephiroth too if Sephiroth is with Zack.) Perhaps at the end of the game. Genesis may be the key to ensuring Sephiroth fails maybe.
This is just more my own interpretation but red is also the colour of blood. And blood is associated with both life and death. It is essential for life, and you pass your blood down a bloodline as new life is created. But it is also obviously associated with death as blood is spilled in war. Which could be partly why Genesis, and the idea of reincarnation or creation, is portrayed as red. The cycle of life and death both are linked with the colour red. Since it is on the edge of life and death. I wonder if they were influenced by the hinduist trimurti, with Shiva the destroyer being Sephiroth. Brahma the creator being like Genesis. And Angeal being Vishnu the preserver. White represents not necessarily life in the literal sense in FF7, but the vitality of your spirit. For instance, Aerith is very much alive in the story even though her body is dead. Black represents a rejection of that vitality. For instance Sephiroth hasn't rejoined the lifestream, but he is more "dead" than Aerith because he is driven only by his fear of becoming a memory.
Yeah dude honestly there is a lot they can do to work Genesis into Rebirth, and I think they could do it well. The only reason I've held off on making a video about Genesis returning is because I'm one of the many that can't stand the guy haha. But I'm sure developers took note of the hate he receives and would write him and his arc a lot better. I do think there's a high chance we'll see him in the trilogy, I just hope they incorporate him into the narrative well. I think they will but we'll see!
