Hope Christian Bale got serious physical therapy after this, he carried the whole movie on his back. Gorr deserved a better movie.

Am I the only one who was wanting Gorr to win? Like he was right about everything, the perfect villian conflicts with the emotions of the viewer and Bale carried that movie. Its the only reason i've watched it more than once
It's pretty much the only damned thing that made any sense in the movie.

And he made it, they couldn’t stop him in the end, though they destroyed his sword, but then only through persuasion they changed his mind and instead of killing all gods he revived his daughter
So he won but didn’t use his win of getting this wish for bad purposes
This tribute alone is better than the movie itself 😂🤣😂🤣

This is one of the best tributes I’ve ever seen. The editing is absolutely incredible… almost makes Thor 4 an epic serious and legendary movie… which it should have been… instead of a complete joke.
Bale carried this entire mediocre movie and he still was barely in it. This video redeems the things that were good and made them better and that’s a testament to your editing. Well done.

i loved gorr in this movie. The desgin was like a monk vampire, the personality was like a combination of kratos and american psycho. He was with good ideologies but yet sadistic towards the gods. I loved him!

MCU movies sometimes have a habit of being great movies but with a bland villain but this is one of those cases were it had a great villain in a bland movie
Bale single handed raised the bar in my opinion in acting with this. I couldn’t have been the only one who wanted him to win .

I swear, Bale's performance, Gorr's character arc, his entire story was originally filmed for a vastly different, much darker movie and then cut into this flick.
It is so sad his screen time is so short such that we only can make 3 mins video for him😭

I can barely fathom the amount of potential lost in this movie for the sake of a string of bad jokes. Bale was excellent, but that just makes it even more bitter.

I loved the Gorr scenes and definitely felt like I was watching a different movie with his scenes. I rather wanted to watch that then the other parts of the movie. I just kept imagining how late 90's Marilyn Manson might have been if he played the part. I imagine he would bring a creapy vibe to the part.
That has to be one of the more disturbing aspects of Gorr. He didn't lose his faith in his god because he never saw him or seen his miracles. It's because he DID! And it disgusted him.
It is very reminiscent of the old saying that you should never meet your heroes, because you will just end up deeply dissapointed.

I love how the movie is a million times better if you remove all of them but Bale.
Yeah gorr could have been muccccccch more intresting...but I kind love what taika tries to make with the story.
Using the forgoten aspect of gorr story to talk about "being your own hero" and not try to relied on your worshipness of someone (especialy after a loss...even more when this loss was a guidepoint to loving yourself...aka gorr daughter).
They say in L&T that "the necrosword is a curse" and I think this could be interpreted has "the curse of wanting to worship someone as our idol, as our "god" " and that wanting that and also wanting to follow blindly our idol believes will slowly kill your inner-self...like Gorr.
This is also show and make in confrontation with Thor who as the pleasure of being a god and....like gorr...worhsip as idol many gods like Zeus.
And the fact that he realised that his own idols are some pretentious megalomaniac people...he realised that you don't need to worship someone you just need to love yourself.
Gorr make the mistake of wanting to worhsip someone (or to be worship/feared...depend) because he has nobody to show him that he need to love himself.....Thor, in the other hand, has someone : Jane.
And at the end he realised (a little to quick imo) that he need someone by seing thor and Jane....and decided to resurected his daugther (and you know the rest)
For me it's pretty faithfull to Gorr point of view in the comic : showing that the gods are selfish. In L&T Thor understand that with Zeus.
And those themes are in the same vein t'as Jojo Rabbit and even WWDITS...all Taika's work.
But after all this is my (messy) opinions.
a solo Gorr film would be an amazing film to watch with this version of the character

Thank God (orr Gorr :D ) I didn't waste my money on the movie. I watched it on Disney and I caught myself forwarding the whole thing like crazy and only watching Christian Bale. This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Gorr/The God Butcher. Christian Bale did a Phenomenal Performance Bringing This Tragic and Terrifying Villain to Life. Gorr Really Reminded of Lord Voldemort.
Comic Gorr was better. The twist that God Butchers cause suffering by killing the Gods people prayed to was amazing. They don't answer prayers because the God Butcher killed them. Thor 4 ruined Gorr. All the director had to do was read the damn comic.

In the Thor comic, Gorr's appearance was scarier than the film version. That version should have been used.
Can you imagine if they didn’t ruin this film with a joke every 1.5 seconds? Gorr vs Thor could have been incredibly brutal.
I needed more Gorr, he played it so well. I loved the movie, but felt he was missing a lot. Maybe they didn’t want to dive too dark and edited stuff out. But Christian Bale, I felt a lot more was there, and they didn’t go there. I hope they do a longer version.

I never had much faith in them doing Gorr justice but I was still surprised by how badly they handled the character and content, I honestly didn't believe they'd fuck it up as much as they did, it was as if Waititi went out of his way to ruin him, Gorr is a serious character with a serious and tragic story and all Waititi could think to do was make one big unfunny joke out of it all...
Such a great villain ruined.

Th3Birdman- this film is adapting the gore storyline from the comics and in that storyline we didn't see faligar being killed either only the aftermath in that respect the film is extremely comic accurate down to the panel
