    This was an excellent presentation. I had an interesting thought. If my company decides to procure new business without being on the GSA schedule would it be smart to build and a pricing schedule on my website anyway? Basically just like if we were on the GSA schedule so pricing is transparent? I'd think that might carry a lot of weight with potential contracting officers. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this idea. Thank you.

      Thank you for your comment. Companies either use "Published Commercial Price List" (publicly available) or "Market Rates". Both have advantages and disadvantages, especially when it comes to potentially pursuing a GSA Schedule (or not).

    Do contracting officers who buy from the IT70 schedule typically do so exclusively or do they often utilize both companies on the schedule and also companies not on the schedule?

      Hi. Thank you for your comment. IT70 no longer exists, it has been absorbed into the consolidated GSA MAS Schedule. Contracting Officers (CO's) must follow The FAR when they purchase. GSA Schedules are only used about 10-15% of the time in federal purchasing. Do your homework/market research first to understand who your customer is and HOW they purchase.

    So with the consolidation of MAS, we no longer need to have different contract schedules for different job categories/NAICS codes?

      Hi Ike. Thank you for your note. There is ONE MAS Schedule. Vendors are differentiated based on their SINs (Special Item Number) which are descriptions for the products / services / software they provide. LCATs under the SINs still exist (or Item #'s for products).

    Can we team up with someone on a GSA schedule project even if we are not listed on the schedule or are we only able to be a sub? Thanks

      @jenniferschaus  Год назад

      Hi @TowerLending Yes, GSA Contract holders can easily sub out work to non-GSA Contract holders. I hope that helps.

      @@jenniferschaus thank you, is that the same as "teaming"?

      @@TowerLending there are many ways to get/share "a piece" of a contract - Joint Venture (JV), teaming, subcontracting, Mentor-Protege, etc. Each agreement will be different./ unique to the scope. Learn more here:
