Northern California APEX Accelerator (Norcal APEX Accelerator) is a government funded nonprofit formed to help small businesses find, bid on, and win contracts with federal, state, local, and tribal agencies. Over 90 Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) - with over 300 local offices - form a nationwide network of more than 600 dedicated procurement professionals who work to help local businesses successfully sell their products and services to government agencies.
Our mission is to advance entrepreneurship and economic growth through procurement technical assistance for all businesses in Northern California. We help our clients identify, obtain, and perform on prime and subcontracting opportunities with local, state, tribal and federal governments. We support all businesses in our service area, with an outreach emphasis on underserved businesses such as women, minority, LGBTQ+, and veteran owned businesses, and businesses located in low-wealth, rural, or disaster impacted areas.

Thank you for the information. My greatest fear was not where to start. After watching I have a clear understanding of where to start along with the resources available to become successful. How can I receive a copy of the PowerPoint?

The number one first thing you can do is whine and get your business license. Make sure you have all your insurance Workmen’s Comp. and I was those things in place. Next get registered and Sam. Which means system for award management. How does the government website. Before you can do that you need to get registered with Duns and Bradstreet. You will need to get your Dunn’s number. When you register on the website you will have to upload your state business license. Once you get all of that done. Then go to the small business administration and register your business there if you are a woman so you can get a woman small business, or if you’re in a hub zone or if you are a minority. There’s other things you can get registered for but you need to go in research everything on the website so you can learn everything that you can do.. After that then you follow what they are teaching in this video. It’s a lot of work but it’s very lucrative if you can get your hand on a contract. I know this because I do have a contract right now."
