I am a kindergarten teacher so let me help clarify a few things that may confuse the parents. The "abc" is English language, while jolly phonics is reading. They are different and are taught differently. Then the teaching methods are different in every lesson like song, play, art and so on.

@@LisaKusiima very important.. it actually confuses the kids for a while.. they normally sound the letters as phonic sounds and they are not supposed to.
It takes them a while to differentiate the sounds from letters. The letters help them when spelling words.. it makes it a lot easier for them while jolly phonics will help them in blending their words therefore reading ☺️

Suzanne got me on the curriculum bit. I'm so for accelerated Christian education curriculum. I'd love for my child to succeed in life, but Do they have Jesus???
