- So this was my first time going to this area, looked like a good spot so I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised. It was also my first time seeing neonate Timbers. I saw 45~ adults and 30-50 babies. All video taken in NY. Timber Rattlesnakes - Crotalus horridus
dude thats an awesome den. make sure that secret is well kept.
Will Robertson most definitely!
Love the timbers! I live in Orange County, twenty minutes south of Newburgh(Woodbury) and have a few rattlers around here. My dad has seen a few up by Schunnemunk Park. My dad and I have also seen a ton of garters, ring necks, northern waters, and a few copperheads here and there... good luck herping!
I live pretty close to Newburgh! We live in a nice area.
Hudson Herper yea we live In a great area... beautiful mountains and also a lot of good spots to herp.
So very awesome! I've been looking forever and have yet to find a timber or copper. Super great video, look forward to seeing more.
Great content. Very interesting and cool. You should get back into it!
Did anyone else hear a noise at 5:35? Jc. It almost sounded like a 22LR shot from a distance but it wasn't.
Please more videos
dammmmm this is by far the best timber footage ever.salute please dont give up the area to abusers
Wow awesome !!
Great den site. Not many of the ones here in PA are so untouched,
Here's a nice spot right about the center of PA. ruclips.net/video/N3ZqoNuY-ak/видео.html
I live in Tioga county ny and I spend a lot of time in New York and pa alike, I’ve never seen a timber before but I’m hoping to see some in the next months, I have seen a lot of garter, water, rat, and milk snakes. Oh I also saw a copperhead in Windsor if you know where that is
Very Nice
Thank you!
those are some beautiful snakes
We call those “scaley land mines”!! Even pros get nailed!! They don’t always rattle before they strike! I hope you travel with a friend because one trip and you’re in trouble!
Dude cool videos. I wonder if you are ok, you haven’t post in a while
Why you stop posting videos did you get bit 🤷🏽♂️
Haha nah haven't been bitten
I just saw a comment about it but that was 2 months ago so i'm still gonna ask. Are you gonna upload more video's? They are really enjoyable and i love snakes. If you see read this, thanks for taking some time for it.
Hello! Yes I have been on a sort of hiatus. That being said in March I am going on a herping trip to Fl and I plan to make my comeback with a video series there and I will hopefully continue back in NY when early spring rolls around. I may be doing herp work in NY this summer as well and would consider vlogging it if there is interest (and if I am allowed). Thanks for the support!
@@HudsonHerper Thats great! Nice to see you react so fast an surprisingly. I'm also going to Florida in march. It's gonna be my first big trip and i hope to encounter some scarlet snakes or key ring necked snakes. Unfortunately they are reasonably rare to come across. Looking out to what the Florida trip is gonna be like (mine and yours). Bye man good luck 🦎🦎🐍🐍🐢🐢🐸🐸
@@davisbates6453 Best of luck in fl! Hopefully you find that scarlet snake! Keep me posted with what you find!
Hudson Herper Sure will! Too bad it isn’t March yet. I hope you will have some great finds too! And I forgot to ask what part are you going to? I’m going south to the keys and the Everglades. I won’t bother ya anymore. Good luck!
@@davisbates6453 the central portion of Fl but I will probably go to the everglades. Thank!
You’re not herping and posting anymore?
I still herp a bunch, I havent been posting videos due to bad quality footage/crappy editing computer. I have clips sitting around waiting to be made into a video
Still west of the Hudson?
Damn I would love to collab with you. To bad your way up in ny
It wrong to kill them beautiful snakes
Do you ever herp in Rockland County?
I dont think I have, why do you ask?
was wondering if you knew any good locations in Rockland
BEM684 no but generally herpers don't share spots.
They are venomous so watch out.
How obvious is that? Rattlesnakes are venomous!!!?? Wow, who knew.
