Fix Clothes Drying Rack

Clothes drying rack / airer has a broken rod. Here's an easy way to repair it.

Thanks for the tip! I don't have any washers handy so instead I used pliers on a small paperclip to coil it into shape. Seems like it should hold quite well for now.

Thanks Mikko. Normally you use washer of what size ? Inner diameter ?

4-5 millimeter or such. The broken rod and cable tie should just barely fit it. Then the fix will hold well when washer is locked by bending it.

Those joints are really weak and I've lost so many racks. and this is such a practical and viable solution. Thank you so much.
