It is shameful to see that neither BCCI nor Jio Cinema gave the rights to the England Cricket Board to show James Anderson's 700th wicket.

It's hard to understand how great this achievement is. Fast bowling is the most exhausting and injury-prone role in cricket and yet jimmy is about to have the 2nd most wickets ever and already has played the 2nd most tests ever. 700 wickets over nearly 190 matches is a true example of quality and discipline, we would all do well to follow jimmy's lead.

He has forever cemented his name as the fast bowler that has the most wickets and in the elusive 700 club. If he had some class he should retire now and not surpass Warnie. Leave the top 3 how it has been for a long time
@@getaflattyinya I disagree and I think warne would agree with me. Jimmy has a golden opportunity to break warne's record, he is still playing more than well enough to get 9 more wickets this summer. No other pacer will get the chance to take more wickets than the king of spin, I think jimmy should aim for 709.

I was pleasure to see Anderson bowling especially in Test cricket. Even at the age of 41 soon he will be 42 in July of this year and still he is playing the toughest format of the cricket hats off to his fitness.!!
Hope he continues to play for another couple of years 🤞🏻

Plus the level of fitness Anderson has I doubt Bumrah can..his orthodox action puts a lot of stress on his back and feet as it is...
Plus Anderson hasn't played in t20s or even Odis for quite some time ...
So he gets a lot of time for recovery..
Bumrah won't sacrifice his ipl career..he comes from a poor background and making money takes precedence for a lot of players
He's got 6-7 good years maybe before his form n fitness dips..
He can scalp 400plus
I remember one of the Star Sports anchor in the summer of 2003 predicting well over 300 wkts for Jimmy by the end of his career....he is now well past that at 700...what a feat...this will never be broken by any human fast bowler under this sun.

Being an Indian, I think Mr. Anderson is a great fast bowler amongst all timers, I watched his 700th milestone, still I was shocked to notice him in the 5th Test match in Dharamsala where the bowling condition was so similar to an English pitch yet he couldn't deliver what was the need of the hour for his country, Wishing him for 800th.
