Great comparisons. I have already watched quite a few on your channel. I really like the monitor speakers from the Adam T-series, but I can't make a choice between the T7V and the T8V because there is no comparison video. Could you perhaps test this combination? Would be great if you can!! 👍
I wanted to see the t8vs SO MUCH !!! Could you please compare them with the yamaha hs8 and the edifier s3000 pros ? Thanks and keep up the amazing work
Very good side by side examples. Helped me decide on the T5V which turned out to be the right choice for my smaller room. Thought I might need a sub but the 5" driver delivers more than enough low end infomation if not doing bass heavy styles (Hip Hop, EDM etc). Total game changers! Had a mix I was struggling with on another small set, ran it througn the Adams and had it sorted in minutes. Kudos to Adam Audio for such a great product!
T8V has better bass extension both are able to capture good details across whole frequency range i would go T8V if budget allowed although for small rooms T5V could be better option
That´s a myth with small rooms. If you think your room is too "basey" tone the frequencies down in any equilizer. But even if you boost low end on the T5Vs, it´s not the same.
@fu J Physics. Research how drivers are calculated for different frequencies. (hint: bigger driver = lower f) You are able to "cheat" with DSPs, but it has its limits aka physics :-)
@@GregorMima that’s with the Rokit line-up...nobody seems to know about the VXT line of KRK speakers wich sound miles better then a pair of rockits..we have a 10s krk sub and it’s glorious with krk vxt 6 or 8’s with it especially with a high end soundcard in a treated room
Looking forward to see a test for T5V vs Enotiva B1+ head to head test. Despite price difference, they have similar look and tweeters. Should be an interesting test.
An Adam technician explained to me the disadvantages of 8 inch variants and said that they usually lose out in a seamless clear midrange performance compared to the 5-7 inch variants.
@@jonathanvenegas7543 I own the T8V's and there is nothing muddy or boomy about them. I think it's all on what you are listening through on your end. The bass on the T8Vs is amazing.
T8V for the win. Both are exceptional outstanding midrange speakers but the headroom and the room in the T8V makes it clearly a winner. The power of it makes it so great. You can listen on a lower volume but maintaining the power instead of pumping up the power from the T5V. Don't forget the placing and the accoustic from the room you are placing counts as well.
At first I liked the t5v but upon further listening I think I like the aggressiveness of the t8v better. The t5 suffer a little from thinness, but the t8 suffer from perhaps a little too much boominess. It may be that the t5 sound a little better balanced at the expense of any aggressiveness- it sounds a bit weak and undersized. I bet these are crazy expensive though, so I'd probably get the edifier s2000mkiii
I cant find a comparison between t7v and t8v, anyone know if theres a big difference in the freq respones, especially in the bass? And the last song called: howling, does anyone know what artist it is?
I have ordered one pair of Adam T8V from thomann and one of them is louder both gain knobs being at 0 db. Poor quality monitos, I will return them! 😂😂😂

Gooooood one. I would probably go with the t5v's and a sub, I think that would offer the fullest range

T5V is more clean and clear, it is my choice.
You're funny :)
How about both 🤓
I agree, but T8V goes a little lower.
Less is more: A.D.A.M. T5V
The T5V is a bit more revealing in the 1-2k area but mostly digging theT8v though. More depth front to back!

@fu J with a sub the T5V are perfect. Zeos tested the 5,7 and 8. He liked the 5 and 8, but wasn't really impressed with the 7.
@fu J Well... search "KRK black gunk" here :-) .... have fun.

t5v have more mid?? its batter to buy t5v with t10s? What do you think. I was planning to buy t8v witch t10s sub.

T8V - More balanced to reference track.
Thanks for putting these up. Check the title for misspelling
Is it possible to do a neumann HK 80 comparison with either Adam Audio & KRK?
An Adam technician explained to me the disadvantages of 8 inch variants and said that they usually lose out in a seamless clear midrange performance compared to the 5-7 inch variants.
Does this technician recommend a T5V + T10S setup then? but that makes it a lot more expensive though.
T7V is the answer if you want a budget Adam, as the 5 wins overall frequency balance and 8 takes the overall tonal balance in my opinion.
In the large T8V version, highs and mids are drowned out by the bass. Better option is T5V with subwoofer
Totally agree. The subs are too muddy and boomy on the 8s. The 5s have that forward presence that makes sense with a ribbon tweeter.

bass can be tweaked through cabinet improvements, port plugs etc. size and power cannot

T5V Sound Cleaner, More detail, not so "muddy", more mid-high, which is where the detail lies., less is more!!!
So clear, so good!

t8v all the way
I already have the T5V’s so i would rather invest into the T10V to expend the frequency range.
Adam Audio T8V 👍😁
I want to hear a comparison of adam t5v vs adam a5x.
Already out
Look at their latests videos, it was posted few weeks ago.
So glad I got the T8V's instead of the 5"s. The T5V sound boxy in comparison and the bass is anemic.
T5V really great for there size ;-)
Вот здесь типичная разница между 8-ми дюймовыми мониторами и 5-ти, т.е. она не столь несбалансированная, как, например, между 305 и 308P.
