I learned to fly here back in 2014. They really do have the latest cockpit technology and the Sling handles like a dream. I tried renting at other places and just came back to the Sling Pilot Academy. Really top notch outfit!
Thanks for the high praise Michael - we love hearing from our alumni 🎓 🛩
Good to hear. Planning to move back into aviation after a 13 year break. Have been looking at how to go about it, schools etc. Positive feedback is always good. Definitely like the glass vs steam gauge systems they offer. That will be a new world for me. My bush planes were old school. 😉
Looking forward to it! Keep the videos coming.
Congrats!
Cant wait to start my multi training at Sling!
Can't wait to have you - when are you starting?
Andrew is so great🤘🏼
Really wish I could afford the training. Glad to see you guys grow. Maybe one day I will earn my wings with you guys. My dream would be -- flying as a paid Gulfstream pilot.
Thanks for the kind words Johnny - reach out if you want to discuss financing options 🛩
I've been looking for someone to fly with since I almost always fly alone. You're welcome to join me anytime just to sit in the right seat and enjoy the ride. I usually fly on Sunday's. You can look up my phone number on the flight schedule pro or just ask dispatch to give it to you.
Very nice twin
We agree 😎
That’s a good deal for twin with a G1000. It cost at least $350 an hour for And old twin over here in Minneapolis
Just checked my logbook, sold my twin Grumman Cougar the beginning of 2001. Fun economical twin. So, I think if I can get out to SLING before my BFR in July, I can get it in the TECNAM, then we can get some Ribeye. LMAO...
That's a solid plan, let's make it happen! 🤘
Great video content but the music is a bit distracting at times.
Thanks for the feedback!
Lots of time doing survey in those GVs! Enjoy!
So far, we've been loving our new twins!
Just curious why you were going to call the tower? 0:17
🤐
Congrats 👏
Does that mean they'll be available for solo rentals too?
Thanks! The twins are used for training purposes only (with an instructor).
Neat airplane, over exaggerating about places charging double for steam gauges. 30 vs 25 multi is a bit of exaggeration too in terms of marketability. If a place is hiring you with 25 hours of multi, they are not picky about multi time
How much did this plane cost, asking for a friend…
Only 2 blade prop?
Yep! Works better than the 1 blade prop...
Relax Bruno, it doesn’t take a scientist to operate G1000. It’s designed so my little cousin can fly em. Just because one guy you knew couldn’t pass a checkride for not figuring out doesn’t mean that’s the case for the whole population. Training is training. If your future career needs advanced avionics training, i guarantee most of the systems won’t relate to G1000s (not talking the PFD).
