Tom, you are my hair savior! This was really helpful. Even if my hair is not long enough to do this at least it helps me visualize haha! Love your videos always!
my hair is very curly completely different yours but somehow ur videos are a guilty pleasure of mine lol nice trim! I love getting my hair straightened out a few times a year
@@thomasinaction I have type 4 hair 4a 4b 4c all around lol Actually got my hair blown out and cut on the full moon this weekend. Been looking into Lunar Haircutting lately
I've spoken with my hairdresser about when it's time for me to get my first trim since i started growing it out and my schedule is for March-April and I'm really excited for it, not just to imagine what length my hair would be then but how it would look after the trim. The main reason is for even out the ends but we'll see how that goes. Cheers Thomas!
I cut my hair last week, the first time in almost two years (according to my hairdresser). I have been growing it out from an undercut, and decided to trim the length of the hair from the top of my head to match the hair on the sides. She ended up cutting almost 10 centimetres on the top, and a few centimetres on the sides. The result was really great!
Thank you Thomas again. You're really a motivation. I already thought ... XXXXX times to cut my hair, but when i want to do it, i watch your hairgrowth video ... I will one day reach my goal. By the way, great haircut :p
NOOOO! Just wait till you get to the final stages and make a decision then. No point waiting all this time and just cutting it before it's seen it's day.
I normally go to the barbershop for my facial hair. Most of the time the head gets untouched but the rare occasions it gets something done is cutting the tips or a nice braiding in the beauty salon.
Hey thomas, any idea how to tell the difference between stress related hair loss or actual Male pattern baldness? I've been noticing a lot of hair loss recently but also went through a long rough breakup. Baldness doesn't run in my family either but my right temple is looking suspicious lol.
Hey Stavo, I don't exactly have a scientific answer, but if it were me, I'd make my judgement on how much is falling out and the areas it's falling out. Pattern baldness occurs on the crown to the front of the forehead on top. If you look at men with pattern baldness, the usually still have full hair on their temples and around the back and no hair on top. Either way, if you are concerned I'd still just have it checked out by your GP. Hope this helps :)
I’m growing my hair out for the first time. It is frustrating because it’s not long enough to tuck behind my ears and keeps falling in my face. I am thinking about cutting it but I don’t want to give up.
been growing my hair out since april 2018 (from a disconnected undercut) and it's on most parts shoulder lenght, now i'm thinking of getting a cut next month to even it a bit out cause now it all looks like plucks longer ander shorter
Your hair looks really nice. I was gonna grow my hair out but I bleached the heck out of it so I cut it to my shoulders. And clause of lice. 😕😭 I live with my sister and she don’t clean out her kids hair.
Oh man that sucks. Tell her to get her shit together lol. Sorry to hear about your bleaching criss too. I hope you are somewhat happy with your hair now though.
Have you ever done an at home Keratin Treatment? 😂 My friend was talking about it the other day.. My hair has a slight wave to it and the ends like to curl upwards, so if I did a keratin treatment it would probably be pin straight.. I dont know about the at home bit 😂
Heya, Keratin treatments are supposed to be done only by professionals as it can be really shit if done incorrectly. ie, extreme damage and loss of hair. I would not recommend doing it at home.
Every hairdresser I've talked to, talk about "removing the bulk" Like can you stop! I've been blessed with thick curly hair. And it looks awesome, people around me even says so. Like why would I thin it out?!?! I just want my ends trimmed
I have been growing my hair out for almost 7 months now And i was unhappy due to its wavy nature so I straighntend it multiple times with heat iron along the journery and now I am left with high amount off hair loss .......I am so afraid now that I feel i will go bald soon ...cause everytime I shampoo I loose almost 30 to 40 hair minimum ....... Can someone suggest me a remedy
Hey Man, I've been growing out my hair for about 15 months now, at around the 7 month period I gave it a trim and my hairdresser then, layered my hair but I wasn't happy because it was uneven, (short front and sides, a lot longer back). I've decided that I'm going to wait for it to grow for another 6 months, by then the front would be about right below Nipple length, and then going to the hairdresser and fixing the layers. Any advice on what kind of layering I should ask for? Awesome video man, cheers!
Any advice for making long hair more even after having a mullet, which the sides don't match with the long hair because there very short. Had a mullet, then grown out the sides to match the rest of the long hair instead of the sides aren't even? Grown out hair for 2 years. Don't want to cut it all off then start over again. Long hair at the bottom is also stringy and Frizzy. Need your advice Thomas.
I'm afraid patience is going to be your only friend there, or start from scratch. As for straightening. I have tons of videos that can help with that. You can watch them here to help reduce your frizziness: ruclips.net/p/PLLD-a7CKCtPG_L3vNpuB6uWRUeCGJmVDS
I am growing my hair out from an undercut. My hair type is curly-wavy and thicc naturally. Its almost identical to yours. How do i avoid growing out an accidental mullet without having straighten it out or trimming it?
Ok so I’m currently growing my hair out and I’m on month 10.. from a buzz cut in May 2018... I made a pact to not cut it til the end of 2019, January 2020 and I’m currently in the awkward phase I wanna say because that’s what it feels like. And I have very wavy and curly hair so I can tell I have split ends out the frame... but I don’t wanna cut my hair because my hair is layered, naturally tbh. And some pieces are longer than others and if I trim them then they will just look the same in a few months and I will be back to square one... I’m struggling because my ends are starting to look really bad and I can tell but no one else can since they just believe that it’s my hair texture 😂 I don’t know what to do.... advice maybe?
So...I love your hair and would like to put in a plea that you not let Josh or anyone "layer" your hair. That's a woman's look (and not particularly great for women, in my opinion). I think long and blunt is the best way to go. Of course, it's just my opinion! lol
Did u notice more hair coming out while growing our ur hair ?? I am growing my out and when I shower or brush it ,I'm worried that im pulling hair out or in starting to lose hair . I've had short hair for all my life so I'm not used to this . Am I being paranoid?
Thomas In Action The door opens inwards. In case of fire it’s faster to run and push outwards. p.s. your vids have been helpful, been growing my hair for a little over a year now I believe
Before the trim your hair was over your collar bone now it's above it welp that ain't good if your growing it out longer it'll just delay the process lol anyways some people don't even get a trim for years and they're hair condition is good.
Mine too. I cut mine in September and it seems like the back is growing faster than the top. I'm so used to getting it cut every month, but I'm 100% committing myself to it. I'm even prepared for the hell that is "The Awkward Stage".
Hey bro when my I try put my hair into a bun most of it goes into it but some doesn’t. And I had it evened up. And I have it almost to my neck bones hopefully it’s past there my next year. And my aim is to grow it until it is down to my butt. that will take me about 10years to do . Please reply with a full response I want info from a professional
I'm afraid to have my hair cut. Been growing for 3 years now and people call me Jesus.

Grey hair is cool. I have SO many in my sides haha. I don't mind it at all to be honest.

Every three months, only for the hair on top though. I never touched the sides until this vid lol.
