Little late to the party but I used your video on cutting the lower fairings and installing the frame sliders for my friend's 2019 600RR just a couple weeks ago. worked like a dream. I'm about to install a lot of the crash protection for my 2012 600RR, but the template for the frame slider was for the 2013+ :( Does TST have any template for the 09-12 600RR's??
@@ThePhamtographer I don't believe we made a template for that gen bodywork. Do you perhaps have a laser level and a tripod? Or a laser pointer, a level, and tripod? I can instruct you how to get dead on center with those tools.
@@ThePhamtographer ok here is the method. 1. Put the bike up on a stand and make sure it is level on the floor. Make sure it does not shift in this entire procedure. 2. Take off side fairing to reveal engine bolt that will be replaced with slider 3. Find and mark center of that bolt on its head. 4. Fixture laser level on tripod, on same level floor as bike is on. Shine beam center onto bolt center, ensuring beam is level and perpendicular to the center plane of the bike. 5. Replace tue fairing with all fasteners and clips. 6. The laser beam now marks the spot on your faiting that will be center of frame slider. Mark that with marker. 7. Turn off laser, remove fairing, drill and holesaw appropriate size. Install slider parts for that side and replace fairing. 8. Repeat on other side.
@@TSTindustries Thanks for the tutorial. Sadly I broke my lower fairings on the track prior to attempting the install, so I converted my bike to the 07/08 lower fairings with exposed engine covers and may try this or the Shogun no-cut sliders. Top tier customer service for answering RUclips comments 😎😎
Just a thought. On the frame slider if you made it so that you could remove the cap and had an eyelet that would screw into the slider that would make an awesome tie down point for transporting the bike
No, but the 2009+ ones we have do. We also have specific kits for the 2013-2022 model CBR600RR. Just be sure to navigate to our website and select your specific bike. You will only be presented with the products that are verified and intended to work on your model.
Ya go to TSTINDUSTRIES.COM and input the bike you have. Then you are presented with choices of parts. Place the ones you desire in your cart and check out. Our people and the sbipping carrier take care of the rest.
And now you get an yamaha guy saying yamaha>kawasaki...and it goes on and on...beuty is in the eye of the beholder;-)...That honda is more than a descent bike. There is a remake coming up as well!
Now THIS is important products that any rider must have!
Atta boy!

A while back ER Racing used to make that kind of a kit. It is in fact a pretty good idea.
2007 don't have to worry about cutting the fairing 😎
do the 07-08 frame sliders fit on the 2016 model?
