I’m not sure you are aware that New Zealand 🇳🇿 Generation X was raised on the perfect blend of 50/50 American 🇺🇸 & UK 🇬🇧 Television 📺 we had Sesame Street & The Muppets with classic shows like The Dukes of Hazard and CHiPS and Get Smart and Hogans Heros, Knight Rider, MacGyver, and UK 🇬🇧 TV like HR Puff n Stuff, Rainbow, The Bill, Coronation Street, Grange Hill, and of course some New Zealand programs like Ollie Olsen, Under the Mountain, and Terry Teo & the Gunrunners, Top Town, Radio with Pictures, it’s in the bag with Selwyn Toogood
Thanks for the video - and just checking, is that Cellier Le Brun? Yes, I think they make a lovely bubbles, too! But I had thought that Weleda (pronounced Vel-ed-a), despite being based in Havelock North, was the NZ branch of a German company...? Perhaps it has been licenced here...?
One topic for a video you could do ,is the range of Honey's New Zealand has (many from particular native tree's ,from creamy coloured to rich gold coloured types and Amazing Manuka honey with it's anti bacteria properties unique to New Zealand .Medical grade Manuka honey is super expense and has being used for burns and tissue damage .Alot is exported to be put into products for tissue dressings .
Hey Logan, that's a great idea. One of our Kiwi friends actually saved a horse by slathering its damaged leg with manuka! Americans only think of eating honey lol.
You have managed to find a great range of products that are in general found through out the country . More processed organically certified have being made in NZ over the years ,go back 20yrs alot were imported in from Europe . Many places and towns have markets ,with awesome product range's .
Hey, guess what Morgan, I have been using Weleda too, from Farmers Store in Lower Hutt...it has an amazing smell/perfume ///its meant to be a skin food for my neck,,, and you are so funny and entertaining and starting to sound like a well educated kiwi, but don't lose the little bit of American accent you still retain as it is special and sets you apart from the common folk! 8-)💚🥝🥝🥝💚
The best New Zealand Cheese is Mainland 😂 aged and vintage from mainland NZ in the South Island the reason NZ makes such great flavoured cheeses 🧀 because NZ has a large Dutch community
Champagne "style" fizzy wine. Flying on B.A, I asked the stewardess for a class of "Fizz" - she knew immediately what I was referring to. I thought I was being hep, but failed at that.

We certainly pay far too much for organics, the easiest resolve is to have your own garden. My Grandparents were 100% organic, big vege garden, heaps of berry bushes and all before the advent of so many chemicals. Using other natural plants as pesticides, companion planting, all that great stuff, even down to home made wine and essential oils.
Sorry I can’t find him I bumped into him in the market day in Tauranga but he travels all over the North Island selling his spices usually at local market days
A type of Chinese Herbal drink that Chinese in New Zealand would never buy. (I tried once and taste so horrible that I will not buy it again. I would rather buy the China made Wong Lo Kut herbal drink at Chinese supermarket in New Zealand)
What's wrong with GMO's? Serious question. You eat hybridised food. GMO's are just a different (and far more predicatble and wide ranging) way of hybridising.
I agree. "GMO" has just become a buzzword that certain groups of people have linked with other "bad" things. We have been selectively breeding fruits and vegetables for hundreds or even thousands of years. Yet eating anything that isn't natural is bad? GMOs have been widely accepted to be just as safe, require fewer pesticides, and have better crop yields, among other benefits.
@@iatsd Selective breeding of food is much slower, so when there are adverse effects on the population (whether that is stock feed or human), we have more time see potential correlation/causation, and so more time to selectively breed in an alternative direction. Genetic modification happens immediately, yet the change may not be seen in the population for twenty years. In my opinion, the speed of change is the key issue: immediate modification weighed against unintended effects which can only be seen in the long-term.
Most organic foods are definitely found at the farmers markets throughout NZ👌
Did you try Proper Crisps or Pics Peanut butter? Both made in Nelson and both made with natural ingredients!
Every Kiwi bloke used to own a Swandri 😂 great bit of kit bloke or lass
But Swandri has been made in China for a long time and those Chinese made Swandri is not the same quality.

BTW Macro is a countdown/woolworths house brand. So its not a single manufacturer, its wherever they can source stuff from at a low price.
Gosh I just love them! I didn't realize that they were in Australia as well.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing. Must try some of the products.
