I just started listening to you guys, and have been listening for about two days straight! You guys are awesome! Please bring back Chase! It’s officially been a year, I’d love to see where he is now and what he did during year one!!
This was awesome. Passed my exam, just got my fingerprints done, just waiting on the application to be approved in order to start working and writing policies. In the meantime I’ve been digesting as much content as possible. This definitely brought tons of value, thank you guys!
@@Seanlechelt thanks man, yes I started working for an agency this week. They’re awesome. I’m currently training but I’ve already written a policy for my wife
Independent is definitely the way to go, but starting out captive is good to learn the ropes and see what to do and what not to do in the business, while earning a stable salary to put towards eventually becoming independent. In the process of doing that myself. :)
Hey I’m going through that same process as well. Currently captive as W2 trying to learn how to underwrite with all the different carriers & the sales process. Eventually wanna branch off in the future and go independent to earn more.
I have 7 kids and a wife. I was a mechanic for 6 years and am now a finance manager for the past 9 years . I make great money but I am tired of helping folks purchase products they can't afford with the money they don't have. I have talked with my wife for yhe past 5 years about making the jump into this field. The scary part is knowing that in my first year, I would be scarficing everything I have worked for. It's nice to know I can start part-time.
Glad I came across you guys! I work for a BD, but in a non producing roll…. been considering changing my roll & this has helped make understanding logistics in which routes are available!
I'm right where he is just got my license but I'm actually registered with senior life because I met some guys on indeed who were looking to train agents but they didn't seem to help me so now I need someone help me
I was a commercial lines broker for many years. Good stuff. I had access to over 100 companies. I moved out west to pursue a dream and my license lapsed. Now that I am back east I get calls everyday from headhunters.
