oh man. THAT trailer looks awesome bud. Really get a feel for it whe you took out the other trucks and compared it. Really great size for the trucks you have. Thanks for sharing and well done on the build.. Thumbs up
I had issues with the lights too. The +/- wires were partially soldered to the wrong poles. I ignored the coloring as the plugs only fit one way. I found that LED issues were from bad connections in the side LEDs. If I pushed on them in the right spot they'd work. Used a small block of rubber that exerts pressure on those little boards when the cover is screwed on. Had to do that on 3 of 6 lights. All lights work now, but still pretty jacked up when you consider what that thing cost!!
Hi Gerry , I got the green semi trailer and it’s got about 6 parts missing so I’am in dispute with Banggood about the parts & yes the wiring is crap but hopefully I will get the trailer finished soon it’s been about 3 weeks since I have heard from them . Apart from all that I do love the trailer it’s so beefy and heavy!, I’am going to sort out my own lights for it and keep the videos coming they’re great thanks 👍
Thanks elf!! Banggood is a pain, ive dealt with them a few times last was the trailer. I did everything they asked and got nothing! Haven't bought anything from them since! So good luck, hopefully they will get you sorted!😀
I've just about finished my 806 trailer, didn't have the problems with the wiring, although they are back to front but i just ignored it because live will always be live no matter what colour, so it could be green or blue, it will still be live. You're right about the spacer on the wheels the wrong way round. My biggest problem wad with the shock absorbers, as they are plastic and very poorly made, they should have been metal in my opinion, apart from that, it's excellent
An LED Is a light emitting diode. A diode let's power travel one direction and not the other hooking the LED up backwards should not damage it but I don't know about the circuit board there mounting to u may have to reverse the diode on the board.
I would check that rear assembly since it comes pre-assembled, I tested mine before I build the rear end just in case! If I remember it has to sit just right to work.
How many man hours to complete this bad boy! i have the set and just to put on the crane took me 3 hours. I wanted to convert this to a M26 ww2vintage tank hauler to match the rest of my collection but decided to leave it be as this unit is too sweet for a conversion of that scale.
Hey Gerry how did you get the e or c clips to fit in the two foot stand...that is a pain I went to bed after trying a hundred times...its on hold until I figure it out.
Page 21, step 40?? I feel you my friend😁😁 I have a set of tiny needle nose pliers ( jewelry I think) that drove me crazy until I grabbed a pair!!😁 sorry not the easy answer.
@@gerrysoldguyreview Well I just got through you would not believe what help me the little cross wheel spanner did the job to lock it in. That was a work.
Hey Gerry, aside from the parts missing, how would you compare this build to a Cross RC build? Are the explanations as clear and did the steps 'flow' properly?
Well Justin, I only build the one cross hc6, but I did find the cross manuel to be better! Damn thing was bigger then a magazine, but the hg did have excellent flow but you had to study the pictures more!
These trailers are awesome. I have hauled kids sitting on the trailer, the heaviest was 65 pounds.
I watched a a couple videos with adults sitting on them!! Driving around😆😆 and so true they are awesome 👌

Thanks, now for the fun of painting it!!😁

So true on the cost, and I got no help from banggood even after pictures and a video!!
Gerry so many screws in the box , look like it will be extra, unless they are counting. Lol
Trailer looking great 👍
A few did have extras!! But the ones I needed were short, thanks for watching!!

Well Peter glad someone finally got good lights in a kit!! Even with the little things this is still a nicely built kit!! Thanks for watching!!
Like I said that is a great looking trail

Thanks George, will be exploring that after I get done painting trailer, but its so small dont have alot of faith that I won't damage it!!😆
Yes I had and have kinds of problems with this trailer. Thy put so much fine metal work into but the controller board, ramp, and lights suck.
Totally agree tank!! It's such a fine trailer and they cheaped out with the lights!! My ramp is all that does work 😅😅
also you got a new sub with a like and a bell hit.
Thank you so much, look around the channel let me know if you see something you want to hear more about!!
Yes...Jerry sweet 🍺🍺🍺
Thank you, not as wild as some of your awesome builds!!
It looks great, ya pain in the ass sometimes with directions and missing parts from these guys. Nice looking trailer in the end.
Overall iam very pleased with the trailer, the quality of the parts makes up for a few little fiddly bits!!
I just got that trailer today. Awesome. But only one ramp goes all the way down. The other stops about half way. Any idea?

Easy 12 hrs just the build, I really just took my sweet time, was just enjoying the build!! Thanks for viewing😁
Question…on page 21, step 40, how did you get the e-clip in with the spring?
Hello J Senders! I have a set of tiny needle nose pliers, I don't remember if it gave me any problems!

Hey good you got it sorted!! Sometimes all it takes is a little out of the box thinking😏😏
Iv been noticing your "book stand", can we get a closer look?
Will do its some scrap wood, screwed together, I like books off bench when building kits!😃
Can you haul it with the 8x8 Tonnage?
Hello AZ! It could if you modify the hitch on the trailer, it's to big to slide into the 5th wheel on the truck.
That's awesome Gerry, are you going to paint it or leave it the color it is?
Already did first coat it drying as as we speak, going for slightly different!!
@@gerrysoldguyreview can't wait to see it!!
Couple days!
