All that dragon damage isn’t utilized every time they do a shield bash combo. So valstrax is more optimal for drill slash and rathian for shield bash. Valstrax does have long white tho so you might still see it used with shield bash during longer fights like emergency apex

Awesome run! Any reason to why you chose the Rathian SnS over something like the Valstrax SnS?

Yes Valstrax is better use it. But you can't spam shield bash with it. Use more the A combo and metsu + shield bashes for KO's
