He better hope he don't meet a dot or they will toss him in jail and toss away the key. And he was just stopped by Saskatoon police and looked like Astro towing did the impounding.
Why do you keep going up in increments when you clearly would benefit from a 550. you can get a CHASSIS CAB F-450 XLT and have a custom bed made for you and and have a much more capable 40000lbs with the heavy tow package AND still spend about the same as a regular 450.
I gave up driving truck for a cushy warehouse job. But I’ve since made a name for myself that my friends don’t call me to help unless it’s over weight over height over width or someone says “you can’t move that”. And that’s why I love these videos. Love east coast content. Keepem comin’
Damn you found a Canadian that drives more over weight than you do. Congratulations! You are all crazy. Now I know how ice road trucking came to be. They needed a new winter sport.
Always tow alot with Ford dad had a grand marquis pulled 9,000 lb boat over 200,000 miles. 2018 f150 EcoBoost roll the load fast as you want. 550 is a bad dude.
M C try same Here in Colorado This guy is the most unsafest hot shotter I’ve ever seen He definitely wouldn’t get away with this shit here in the states
More like 24000 to 26000 tops. I have triaxles that only weigh 28000 and trailer dumps combined with a tractor at 35000. The boy don't know what he's talking about.
Haha that’s crazy! Definitely way overweight for those 2 12k axles lol. I just bought a loadtrail 34’ hyd dovetail with 15k axles to pull behind my F450. I’ll be posting some videos in the near future of it! I’m out in a BC
I mean the dump trucks literally weight is probably around 23k that’s if the box is a AR400 demo box, they look really BIG because it’s 3ft off the ground towering over a pick up so the size difference makes it a cool looking load kind of resembling a heavy haul truck hauling a Rigid CAT Rock Truck it has the same size difference when coming at you lol… I don’t know why I don’t see guys locking up the trailer brakes TIP I’m sure you know this trick but in case others are reading comments, it amazed me that more people don’t practice this instead of putting all those negative forces back and forth when loading pickups- TIP- When you’re unloaded or loading the gooseneck find a way to lock the spring loaded HYDRAULIC trailer brake service pressure SWITCH pushing that spring loaded switch all the way over to its maximum gain and finding something to hold that switch applied with while you’re loading (I have the gray spring loaded clamp from Harbor Freight that hold the switch closed) it works perfectly! Anyways that’ll keep those trailer brakes locked up while you’re loading your trailer, I HATE watching guys load these things rocking the truck back and forth causing all that unnecessary wear and tear against parts, plus when the trailer is nice and solid it gives you a better sense of comfort loading on a surface that doesn’t feel like you’re pulling on to a roller skate or something. Also by chance the back of your pick up gets “picked up” you won’t be going for one of those hole puckering rides down the street like you’re on a roller skate. As long as your trailer brakes work and adjusted properly you can count on them to hold the load to the road, if you’re questioning the adjustment just turn the trailer brake gain adjustment up to 10 while loading to just be sure. I also have a pipe that’s measured and fits perfectly between my seat and the brake pedal, even with the truck brakes applied the trailer brakes work off inertia mixed with electrical so you still need to lock the trailer brake switch manually closed or turn the gain all the way up to have them be totally locked if the pedal is applied it just allows the brakes to start working they don’t increase pressure until the interia begins to push back against the trailer which increases the trailers breaking since you’re loading and not pushing a constant force against the interia switch it will not apply anymore pressure then bare minimum so it’s best to turn up the gain and lock up the spring loaded switch, unless I’m on a hill and really needing the xtra braking on the truck I usually don’t bother with the truck brake pedal just throw my clamp on the trailer brakes and that’s perfect. Using the pipe I’m totally locked up all around, with manually trailer too, if you start pushing around the trailer and sliding the truck around during loading at that point you’ve got some bigger problems and best not be hauling anything haha..
You should look into Boar wheels for your trailer. They replace most trailers with 19.5 G rated tires, that way when you get your 450 your trailer and truck will run the same size.
Have you looked into working out a deal with Ford? Your videos are a testament to the pulling capacity of ford trucks. I feel like ford could do more for you to reward the free marketing you’re doing for them.
Ford would want nothing to do with this! Overweight, and illegal, his videos are lawsuits waiting to happen. Once he hurts or kills someone they can use all of these videos as evidence.
He isn’t in the states is correct but if or when he is in an accident wether his fault or not his insurance company will have a field day with him.most likely they won’t pay his claim because he is breaking the law and cancel his insurance not counting losing his commercial drivers license. He is a fool just waiting for something to happen. And if he breaks down and the police happen to see him he can kiss his butt good bye also. If I recall Canada has the equivalent of out DOT so whether in Canada or the states the outcome will be the same. A weakness person like this needs to be off the road regardless. He isn’t any better than a farmer - nothing against these very hard people - but many of them take short cuts like this fool but because they most likely are going from one field to another. The thing that really gets me he knows he is doing wrong yet he thinks he is funny but in reality he is showing his ass.
@@MySledgeHammer lol no problem in canada ! you can kill someone and be out of jail in 3 years. So you can imagine that a little overweight is nothing to worry about !
Not true. Did hotshot work for about 8 years based out of kansas. Our truck and trailer combos were licensed where 44,000 lbs was still legal for a gross weight on combo. The state you are licensed out of matters, if you're played for it then dot in any other state can't say a thing.
You have to work on your filming buddy. Shaky and out of focus lol Time to upgrade the camera set. And lets not drive on the wrong side of the road, should have taken the drone out lol

I guarantee that dump truck doesnt more than 23,000lbs. I drive a tri axle pump truck with a 4,000 gallon tank and that barely weighs 24,000lbs. And as for him saying that it is for the guys own company not a motor carrier so no one cares I bet the RCMP would beg to differ. Since he owns a company and it is for the company it is still considered commercial.
A semi truck safely does this amount of weight on a daily basis pretty much 300+ days a year for 20 years. This truck would be garbage in 2 weeks of doing this on a daily basis.
If it didn't have a quick connect air fitting on the tank but had 1/4 inch npt threads somewhere just thread an air line right into the tank. Of course its easier said than done if you don't have exactly what you need at the time.

Well the 450 and 550 can come with no bed. Could get a aftermarket aluminum bed, lighter than the one he has. Ford seems to be doing just fine with the aluminum superduty. So much others are using aluminum on parts on their trucks to. Morons
