Can you do a full pregnancy-safe skincare routine please? Having trouble finding products that are safe for pregnancy - particularly with active ingredients. Thanks!
I have been begging too since I’ve been breastfeeding and now I’m pregnant again. She made a short a couple weeks ago regarding some dos and fonts but a routine video would be amazing
I JUST picked this stuff up cause i get one or two deep cystic pimples every time i start my period and noting has ever worked to combat them UNTIL NOW like ive tried everythingggg without overdoing it and usually the pimples are large and swollen under the skin and painful for like 2 weeks but THIS???? My god. Used it morning and night on one i currently have for only 2 days and its almost completely gone 😭 i wish there was more hype about sulfur and imo this product BARELY smells and i can only smell it when it comes in contact with water when i wash it off. But its because of YOU informing us about sulfur that i was so ready to try it so THANK YOU life saver
Could you please tell me how do you use it? I know that it's a spot treatment, but I think that the packaging says to leave it on only for ten minutes and then rinse off. Do you do that and if no, then for how long do you apply? Also, how many times a day?
@@weronika4579i use it on my whole face, dr. dray also made a video about sulfur acne treatment. She said you can leave it on your face for 20 mins. max. But she only likes to do it for 15 mins. That's what I do too and it really calms pimples and breakouts. What i do is I use my cleanser first, then pat dry my face with clean towel. After that, apply the sulfur treatment on your dry face.
I’m super late to this video, but if you have an FSA or HSA card, this product is approved by the IRS for purchase with your card! It’s even listed on Amazon as “FSA and HSA Eligible.” Also remember that skin care products that treat medical conditions like acne, eczema, etc are usually covered if they contain active ingredients (sulfur, glycolic acid, lactic acid, colloidal oatmeal, salicylic acid, urea, benzoyl peroxide, etc). Sunscreen above spf 30 is also covered! Hope this helps someone! ❤
I hear ya, this is an affordable & worthwhile ingredient though. I just bought Earth’s Care acne tx mask, upon Dr Dray’s Sulfur products recommendation
I cannot tell you how amazing my skin was after a gorgeous natural sulphur hot spring in New Zealand! I just bought that product, it's niiiiiice. Stinky, but it's the right stink for helping the skin 😍
I started using Nixoderm which has sulfur and it completely cleared my papulopustular rosacea that I have struggled with for years. It literally changed my life. I used to have horrendous skin and now it's completely clear. No flaking and scaling, no pustules and no redness. It was 2.99 and I use the tiniest amount. I used it everyday at first and now I use it every few days. It's truly amazing.
@@alyssathomas8277 a few weeks . I barely even use it anymore and have no skin problems which makes me feel that my rosacea was caused by demodex mites.

I recently got VERY bad breakout for over a month that made me went to dermatologist for the first time in my life and the doctor gave me cleanser that use sulfur and bha (+med and other creams). It did work and could see my face getting better in just a week. I never used sulfur based product anymore after I switched to salicylic acid but it didn't work... Which what made me went to clinic in the first place 😂
We lived on and bathed in sulfur water growing up. We didn't get bug bites, but we had really severe acne. Most of us had oily skin. Why did it not work for us?
Off topic: No hate! I know the Dr. has a gorgeous face, but is there a slight filter on her today? I compare my skin to the people I see online and I'm trying to decide whats reality and whats enhanced.
Hey Dr I've got a couple of crucial questions for you regarding the HELIOCARE tablets. The box says to only take them when you're outside in the sun and for a maximum of one month. Now, I'm a stay-at-home mom, so does that mean I shouldn't take them? Also, I'm currently on Amitriptyline, could that be causing my melasma? Lastly, how long can we actually take HELIOCARE? I'm really concerned about this, so your answers would mean a lot to me.
Her long form video on her channel "Sulfur for clean skin" explains it but no, she says it's not safe for someone that has an allergic reaction to Sulfas.
I just got this in a squeeze tube during the middle of a raging horomonal acne flare up. Pimples are going away finally and not sure if it's because of this or just because my acne comes and goes depending on the time of the month. It does smell but if it works, I'll take it. Now, if I can stop picking!
Lol I was thinking the same... What makes me not want to try it is that it will hurt my eyes. But I might try it in my hair. Sulphur cream or soap is quite cheap though.
I bought this sulfur acne treatment on Amazon and it doesn’t have a smell at all..? I used it on a pimple and washed it off after 10 minutes as written on the directions, but absolutely nothing changed. Could it be a fake? Or should I just leave it on for longer? As for the smell, did anyone who had this product (and it worked for them) find that it had no smell?
i bought mine from Walgreens, it definetly has a rotten egg smell. Not crazy bad but bad enough to notice while its on your face and when washing it off. If yours smells like nothing id be a bit concerned.
I used it before on what looked like a nodule on my temple but it seemed to jusy keep it at bay longer. I had a scar for months after where said nodule was
Natural stuff is composed of chemicals too. Better to use the products recommended by a dermat since the ingredients are backed by scientific research.
Everything is „chemicals“ honey and there is nothing wrong with proper skincare using good and gentle ingredients Natural cosmetics mostly contains a lot of alcohol and is scented, which is both bad for the skin
And why did I just learn about it when i have horrible breakouts? Idk but everyone has been advising for salicylic acid benzoyl peroxide for acne or even niacinamide but sulfur is the real deal ?! And pimple patches are scams

Sulfur and niacinamide for acne treatment all the way. Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide dry me out too much and make it worse in the long run.

Hormones?
It's probably different because there are other chemical substances in that water except sulfur
I loved sulfur when I had acne. The bare minerals acne powder has it, but CVS / Walgreens has a 4-6 dollar bar of soap. They all work so well.
It saved my skin throughout middle school, high school and early college.
Can this treat Post inflammatory erythema (PIE) most doctors don't talk about it .?
Hey! is it okay to use niacinamide in every product?
As long as you tolerate it, there shouldn't be a problem.
Doc, is it safe if you have sensitive - eczema prone skin?
If your boy/girlfriend broke up with you because you use sulfur - good for you. Get with a better person next time and look good doing it! 😘💕
Any substitutions for those who are allergic to Sulfur?

So much of acne is caused by diet - allergies to eggs, oxalates in vegetables, grains. Also sugar and processed seed oils.
That’s complete nonsense
How often do you use it? And is the cream or wash better?
