I loved this. I am an old hetero man, dying, and have loved KD for many years. All her songs make me cry - except this one. Thanks KD for all the joy you gave me.
as K.D. stated when she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, "only in Canada would a freak like K.D. Lang receive a juno award" and she's right - only in Canada, where we appreciate the greats and we have many, K.D. being one of the best

How cute is this? I love when k.d. almost loses it with the giggle. She was probably thinking that there's no way she'd even want her man, so the whole song was probably a joke to her. She's just adorable and looked so darn cute singing this song. Hope she doesn't lose the child like qualities that have always been so appealing. You can't ever lose that child within or you get old and grumpy. k.d. is a light and wonderful spirit. Thanks langsense for posting. Great video!

How did I ever miss this? Both had very similar beginnings- Rosanne starting out determined to do country rock with a quasi-punk rebellious attitude, in order to not copy her father's music style. KD Lang gloriously embraced her cow-punk quirky outfit/style and proved it's not how pretty the box wrapping is, it's what's inside the box that counts.

I wish kd had stayed with country. I watched an interview she did with Arsenio Hall in the late '80s or early '90s. She stated that she was pressured by country executives and radio to change her look and she said no. That's what led to her pop career. I have total respect for her for staying true to herself.
