Yeah this would have been a lot more useful with maybe even a couple words about each item, without knowing the items this could be just general responsive building for any MOBA.
Helpful but I still have a lot of questions, I’m very new to this game and it just feels like I do no damage at all but enemies just deleted me instantly. Could you maybe do a simplified Osiris build ?
Just starting out and this helped clarify a few things so thank you a lot. I would appreciate it if you could give some examples of builds on Scylla, Chronos, and Amaterasu.
Thanks to this vid, I'm not gonna quit playing this game (for now) because I just started 2 days ago and spent 17 straight hours going through the gods and finding a main per class to use but when I started playing with and against my more experienced friends, they NEVER taught me anything, just kill me repeatedly. I know they were playing around but I couldn't do anything and I felt like my builds that I made was just a waste of time, so I took a day break. All I want is to be a support that help the team with good heals but ain't weak either so I pick Ra.....sorry for the vent, just a noob feeling overwhelmed and even after the videos I watched, still trying to put the pieces together.
If you want to play healer supports you’re going to want to look at Hel, Aphrodite, or Sylvanus. They are traditional supports, but if someone else picks up a god with more crowd control it can definitely work well :) Good luck figuring it all out, there are plenty of guides up on my channel as a place to start!
Great video but one question that stumps me is why as a assassin would you build defensive as isn't a assassins job to burst some down and run. I dont play jungle at all so might be obvious.
almost all assassins do have the ability to not do as much damage, and still bring utility to the fight. Thor has 2 stuns and some damage even if he is full tank Thanatos has an execute and silence Pele has a knockup and can chase people down to finish kills Ne Zha can take someone out of the fight for 5 seconds etc etc.
I would love a basic on building warriors. I'm mainly a mage player and pretty good with them but when it comes to being in some ones face and bullying I'm not that great at which is key for a warrior. Maybe do the video as a "Mages approach to Warriors" video.
Thank you so much! I've just started to get back into moba games and decided to pick up smite. You're videos help me a lot and I'd love to see a Fenrir guide!!!

All MOBA games I have played have crazy building learning curves. Smite is no exception. I just hope that in time the recommended items and auto built items get better so new players have more resources to learn
Im really new to smite so im still just relying on my gods reccomended items, but when i understand and know more items i will definitley try and build like you do!
Nothing specific. Just look to play safe as both of those characters are squishy mages. What I will do is add a vote to both of those goddesses to my list and make a video on them in due time :)
I don't know how to build warriors and burst mages after the midseason patch? Are stacking items okay now for mages or is it still niche? And is the rod of tahuti, chronos pendant item tree still okay for mages?
Hey! I can definitely add Artemis to my list, for now I would recommend starting on this video here where I talk about Hachiman, another hunter in Smite! ruclips.net/video/VARk5U9r6Uw/видео.html
The problem that I run into is I just don't have time to look through all of the items. Like if I had a few minutes to look at the other players items and my own team items and be like yeah I can build x,yz but I can't. I have to read the descriptions and stuff and I just don't automatically look at an item and know what it does. Also I don't know all of the gods passives and abilities. I know this comes with time but sometimes it can be frustrating. Time is so vital I just can't spend it in fountain trying to figure out what to counter build with.
That’s why in the beginning I recommend either following a cookie cutter build path that I will give in videos on this channel, or turning on auto purchase of items. This way you don’t have to waste time in the fountain as much, and can focus on other aspects! I also have a slightly out of date item guide that I am looking to update, so look forward to that in the future :)
That would be awesome. The problem too is for a long time I relied on builds on smitefire but I realized some of them aren't very good. I have to come to youtube and search builds instead. But with recent patches its hard finding up to date stuff. Thank you! @@Keltick
I try to keep what I posed relatively up to date. Most of the builds I have will definitely work, but the ones posted near the beginning might not be as meta as builds now a days. That being said you’re always welcome to request gods and I will add that vote to my running tally :)
I have mentioned which gods I think are best for beginners in the past! I would recommend this video for starters :) The Basics of God Classes | The Smite Beginner's Guide ruclips.net/video/kOeZRlqtIQc/видео.html
What about cammazots? I’m fairly new the game and still trying to learn the mechanics. I have seen builds and it shows the three basics items but I still don’t really understand items as a whole. What items would you recommend if I was ahead in the match or on the other side of I was down. Btw playing as solo Laner.
Solo lane typically builds into a bruiser build, with power and protection! Something like gladiators shield, warrior tabi, ancile for the core. Then the last 3 items would depend on the game. But spirit robe, pestilence, and hide of the nemean lion are all items to look at
Can you do thanatos? I play very very casually and thanatos is the only God I’ve played with and know his skills a bit also are you able to save those custom type of builds on console? Like to have the gold auto purchase what you set? If that’s possible. Thank you
I can definitely add Thanatos to my list. Currently there is no way to set what is auto bought by the game. But you can set custom builds so you don’t have to hunt through the store to find the items
Smite is currently in a pretty good state for the casual fan base. If you are looking to get into grandmasters, maybe now isn’t a great time, due to the quarantine servers have been heavily strained with new traffic. However if you are looking for a game to play to have some fun, I recommend Smite :)
I play jungle alot with gods like kali baka thana n sometimes fenrir but, for baka what do i build against tanky targets and how many counter items do i buy?
Depends on how the game is going if I am being honest. If you’re even or ahead you’re going to build differently than if you are behind. The important thing to remember about Baka is his third ability gives him true damage on his auto attacks, so typically he performs well against tanks if he builds attack speed, to get the most out of that ability
I still don't understand this game and I've been playing for years. So if I can only have 6 items why is there so many slots? And why are you filling them all? How do I know what "core" items are good for my god? How do you have time to read about all the item's to choose from while the game is going on? Am i supposed to be doing that?
I will meet you in the middle, this is a very great question, and I am going to answer it in a video. I will start drafting it out and post it in the coming weeks.

Good video but the only bad thing is you made a video for beginners yet you neglected that most of us won’t know what these items do. You kept naming them as if it was common knowledge but if you would’ve shown the item effects or explained how they work it would’ve made a big difference and taken it to the next level Either way good video and it helped but that’s just my side of it.
