In early 2019 I started my fitness journey with CrossFit and you were one of my favorite athletes I started following. I appreciated your positive attitude and not taking yourself too seriously. In 2022 I did my first triathlon, fell in love with the sport, and transitioned away from doing CrossFit. Now I see that you’re doing the same and I can continue to follow your journey! I still love both sports but, at least for someone like me who can’t make fitness their full time career and is also 41, I couldn’t do both cross fit and triathlon at the level at which I’d excel at both. I had to choose one or the other based on limitations of time and what my body can handle. So I train triathlon around 12 hours a week and do maybe 2-3 hours of strength work, focused solely on what I need to do to create the stability needed for such a demanding sport. Obviously you’re a lot more athletic and experienced but just wanted to give you what my experience was transitioning from CrossFit to triathlon! Can’t wait to see your journey unfold!
Fantastic content, Noah Ohlsen. Looking forward to your next upload. I clicked the thumbs up icon on your segment. Keep up the awesome work! Your transition from CrossFit to marathon training is fascinating. How do you plan to balance the different training modalities while ensuring optimal performance for both?
Bro whatever you do continue to give it your all and keep your that great joy you have. Hey I might see you in the field of an Ironman or Marathon
Y'all crazy!
