Can this stop 224 and 308? How long is the jacket last?

You already have to own a ballistic vest to complete this system so whatever threat level YOUR vest is will determine what rounds it can stop. I highly doubt any armor you have that will stop those mentioned rounds will also fit this carrier.

Depends on what existing armor you already currently possess. You will need an existing soft armor carrier that will need to be inserted into the outer vest. You can also pirchase rifle rated hard armor plates and insert them.

This isn’t even accurate. Mine doesn’t have shoulder straps or anything else that even remotely resembles this. And their sales people aren’t helpful at all

The shoulder straps come from your existing armor. this is nothing more then a Carrier.
